And outstanding story with a great cast of characters and a dark and dreary tail into the zombie apocalypse. If a zombie apocalypse actually occurred the way this book unfold is probably extraordinarily close to how it would actually happen and how our lives would be during that time. It is a rocket fast roller coaster ride through with plenty of twists and turns surprises and upsetting moments. Do not get too attached to anyone character you never know when it will be their time. So far every book in the series has been a thrill ride he will not be disappointed check them all out

Zoe Lake is heading off to college - and she's excited. It's not a regular college, though. It's a magical college full of vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, sphinxes - and pretty much everything else you can imagine. Despite the monsters, it's often human nature that threatens her life most.

Twelve-year-old Felicity knows all about things like that; her nomadic mother is cursed with a wandering heart. But when she arrives in Midnight Gulch, Felicity thinks her luck's about to change. A "word collector", Felicity sees words everywhere - shining above strangers, tucked into church eaves, and tangled up her dog's floppy ears - but Midnight Gulch is the first place she's ever seen the word "home".
