The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the Native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon came ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There went the good old days, when humans got killed only by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Very fun and at times funny military sci-fi. I was totally upset when it ended and immediately bought the sequel.

They keep the world running, the food cooked, and the horses shoed, yet what adventurer has ever spared a thought or concern for the Non-Player Characters? In the town of Maplebark, four such NPCs settle in for a night of actively ignoring the adventurers drinking in the tavern when things go quickly and fatally awry.

Would you listen to Homeland again? Why?

In a few years when the material isn't so fresh in my mind, absolutely!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Drizzt, he's a character out of his own culture and a powerful fighter. He's a character everyone would want to be like.

What about Victor Bevine’s performance did you like?

Different convincing voices for each character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was just a fun listen from start to finish.

Any additional comments?

I've been listening to a lot of Sci-fi because thats my scene. However, the first novel I ever read cover to cover was written by R.A. Salvatore and it was riveting to me as a teen and I could barely put it down. I remembered the author when I seen this book on a friends shelf and thought I need to see if Audible has that title. This is the origin story of a very fun character and it is a very fun great read I'm excited to read the rest in this series and to follow the adventures of Drizzt Do'Urden.

I've had this book in my queue for a couple of months, I bought during a special deal from audible and didn't know if I'd like. After listening to a few other books this was one of the last books I hadn't listened to so I gave it a try. This book was very fun and I'm glad I gave it a chance. I came to audible today only to add the rest of this series to my wishlist.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Total Money Makeover to be better than the print version?

Depends on how you like to consume content. I don't like to read but I love audio books so for me personally I would likely have never been exposed to the content were it only in written form. So, the audio version is better for me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Author, he is reading his own experiences.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Didn't make me laugh or cry, however, it did make me wish I'd lived by the ideas in this book my whole life.

Any additional comments?

Good Read for someone looking for a faith based look at why we should save money.
