When a scavenger captain offers her an unusual job in the middle of nowhere, Delphine accepts and tags along. But will she manage to get the treasure they're looking for when she has to operate a seadrone all by herself? When the treasure is buried in a spaceship graveyard two miles under water? And when the challenges she faces go beyond her wildest fears? This story was inspired by Point Nemo, a place located as far away from land as possible where spaceships go to die.

Great performance. The narration and sound effects made forget I was listening to a book. I thought I was listening to a movie. Can't wait for the author to build upon this story and see what happens next. Very interest lines for plot threads. As much as I enjoyed the book the audible was better.
Simply, a great listen.

Brother Dust, a changeling born amidst a sandstorm, has seen it all before. He's watched as the heavy imperial boots have crushed dozens of planets. Watched as their drills pierce the core of a world, slowly killing it while the natives are kept docile, and compliant with the gifts and pleasures the empire brings them from the stars.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. The performance on this audiobook was outstanding with each of the characters having a life of their own.. the over all story itself was too long. Some details/color that was provided did not assist the story b ut only add subplots for future books.

Razer Station is one of the most notorious stations in the galaxy. Criminals, con artists, freaks, rebels, junkies, and smugglers inhabit the space station that floats at the outer edge of civilization. It's Roak's kind of place. But, Roak isn't on Razer for a little R&R; he's there on a job. For Roak, it should be an easy job- track down an old tech that has been targeted by several corporations and deliver the tech to the corporations. Except Razer Station is never that accommodating and Roak's easy job quickly turns into a nightmare battle for survival and a race across the station before it all goes up in flames.
