I tried to endure through to the end but I just couldn't. I have heard of love triangles but sleeping with one brother one night and crawling in the bed with the other brother the next is over kill. Then there's the narrator... sounds like a robot is reading with a nasally voice. The book is short but they so prolong it at the end.

This book seems to compare to the coldest winter ever, however, I believe this is better. more character points of view, detailed history on the major characters not just a boring one star character but multiple characters, giving the book a fresh feel. Some parts are sad and gritty but it gets better.

The ground zero incubation period is lengthy, and before it is even known that they are infected, the soldiers have already carried it to various cities across the United States. The culprit of this weapon is not a country or even a person, but rather nature itself. Within time, no place in the world is safe.

First of all the narrator is great... But this book has more sex than it needs to be. There are barely survival strategies for an EMP. I find myself skipping through these sex scenes because they are similar. spoiler alert!!!
I hate how that these women have been tortured for months and all of a sudden hopping into random guys bed the same day they meet after being "traumatized" REALLY?!?! WHAT SHELTERED HOUSEWIFE IMAGINATION IS THIS? obviously she has never experience rape know someone who has or the emotional trauma real women go through. I couldn't finish this book, gave me a major headache.

Sometimes the worst storms aren't from Mother Nature, and sometimes the worst nightmares aren't the ones in our heads. Mike Mitchell, an average New Yorker already struggling to keep his family together, suddenly finds himself fighting just to keep them alive when an increasingly bizarre string of disasters starts appearing on the world's news networks. As both the real world and the cyber world come crashing down, bending perception and reality, a monster snowstorm cuts New York off from the world, turning it into a wintry tomb where nothing is what it seems.

I love how the author didn't make it perfect. ex I broke my hand and we so happened to run into a doctor or we need to grow veggies and fruit and we so happen to run into a farmer . no it seemed real from the non working to the need to amputate the arm due to lack of drs. over all good book.
