Amara was content to live as a lone wolf, the only one of her kind - or so she'd thought. Her world was flipped on its head when a strange man with a familiar scent showed up at her work, demanding a private meeting. Desperate to find the mate Luc had scented from 400 miles away, he was shocked to find her living as a lone wolf. Amaroki women were to be cherished and protected. What had happened to her family? More importantly, how was he going to convince her to return to the reservation with him? And how would his possessive brothers react when they found him with Amara?

As much as I like reverse harem books, I can't stand when the female characters are so weak willed. Hormones be damned! Grow a spine and tell them "NO"! Grrr! Makes me want to slap the female!

Born before man recorded time, I lived for thousands of years believing myself to be something I’m not. Someone I’m not. Lied to and betrayed by gods, Daimons, and Dark-Hunters, I’ve struggled to find my way. Trained as a slayer and predator, I learned to fit in and stay low. Until I was sent to kill the one woman I couldn’t. My hesitation cost her her life. Or so I thought. I’ve learned that this world is an illusion and that my Phoebe still lives. Now I will have to travel into the very pits of Hades to try and save her.

The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

Martin Jarvis really brings this book to life. But to be completely honest, you probably would be better to actually read the book. The book jumps around from person to person, without any kind of distinction. It was really easy to get lost and confused as to what is going on. There are a TON of tangents. You really can't do anything else if you are listening to this book... I have to listen to it again cause I got lost within the first hour... Thou I'm much more inclined to buy the book.
