This is my favorite Audible Original so far and I've listened to several. I've listened to other stories in the series and I love this prequel! It was a great length where you didn't get bombarded with unnecessary filler information. Great suspenseful story!

I really loved this book! I enjoyed the back and forth of current day Flora to her experience while being kidnapped. I didn't find there to be any slow parts and was hooked the whole story!

This is one h*ll of a story! This has made it to the top of my all time favorites. I'd like to see this turned into a movie. I listen to a lot of psychological thrillers and this is the best of the best! You will not be disappointed! When you think you know what might happen you find out you really have no idea at all.

I've waited over a week to write a review since finishing this book. I had a hard time getting through it because there were so many characters and so much going on to keep straight. I wanted to think about it before I gave a harsh judgment. Overall it's not a bad story. There were just too many sub stories within the main story; way too many! I kept having to stop and think "ok who is this again". I didn't care for the narrator's voice at all. Not my favorite book but not the worst I've listened to either.

This is out of my normal listen but with the good reviews I thought I'd try it out. The performance was good, but I just didn't "get it". If it had been any longer I would have stopped listening. I've listened to stories outside of my normal genre and been pleasantly surprised but not this time. I gave the story 3 stars because maybe it's just me that didn't follow or find it amusing.

This was so absolutely absurd! I struggled to listen to this. The characters weren't likeable and the "story" was just ridiculous. The ending was the most unbelievable thing I have ever heard. This is pretty much the only type of book I read or listen to and this was one of the dumbest! The bouncing around didn't work with this story and didn't make a lot of sense. Definitely didn't like it and don't recommend. I'm really not sure how people could have given stellar reviews.

I really wanted to like this. I was excited to start listening. I forced myself through 2 full stories and couldn't do it anymore. It was just terrible! So disappointed! The acting was ok..the stories were ok..nothing really worth spending the time on.

The story was captivating but I was very disappointed with the ending. I know others have said they loved it but I really thought after that whole story there would be a more significant shocking ending. Nonetheless it was a great listen! The narrator was great as well.

This book was absolutely amazing! The twists and turns up until the very last moment! I listen to a lot of books in this genre and this is the first one that has made me cry. You truly feel for the characters and their experiences. Everywhere could be anywhere! The narrator was perfect as well! Highly highly recommend!

I was hooked from the very beginning! I finished it in 2 days. The characters were very well developed and easy to get invested in. I especially liked the relationship between O'Grady and Kendall. There was never a dull moment in this story and the narrator was fantastic. When all is said and done it makes you really think. Especially with all of the real life mass killings going on in the world lately. This was my 3rd Susan May listen and will definitely not be my last!
