It's the same story for the 3rd time with just a few changes. Girl and boy meet, fall in love, boy does something stupid, girl gets kidnapped, boy rescues girl, they live happily ever after. I like the dynamic of each character and how they interact. But, if you are looking for new and different, this isn't it. If you're looking for good southern entertainment, you've come to the right place.

This is the 4th and final book in the series. It is seriously disappointing! You don't really get any closure at all. The mystery behind Ben Morrison is still a mystery.

It had great potential. The characters were way to off and did not flow well. The story could have been cut in half with the same results. I do not care for stories that over explain, and this one had way to much unnecessary detail.

I usually don't listen to post apocalyptic books, but the reviews were good and I LOVE the In Death series, so I figured, why not. This was fantastic and I am so excited for the rest of the books I the series.

I liked this story better than the first. It seemed to move faster and was very enjoyable.

I LOVE Ron McClarty as a narrator, but I didn't like him for the Amos Decker character. This narrator seemed to capture Amos better.

Question: Why can't Baldacci ever finish a series? I have enjoyed most of Baldacci's books, but it drives me crazy that he never finishes a series.
