The Rebels have taken the Imperial headquarters world of Coruscant, but their problems are far from over. A killer virus called Krytos is spreading among the population and fomenting a counter-revolution at the same time as the treason trial of Rebel hero Tycho Celchu. As the X-wing fighters scramble to save the rebellion, pilot Corran Horn, given up for dead in an "inescapable" prison, discovers an extraordinary power in himself, the power of the Force!

While I enjoy Anthony Heald in his movies... whoever directed him to read the majority of the voices in this book with a British / Scottish accent needs to have his head examined... Not only was this a bad choice (a couple would be fine - but damn near everyone is way overkill), but the accent itself - wow, just bad. All this coming from a NY born actor - if you want a EU accent - get someone from the EU to read it!

And then the abridging - again - Missing some major details from the book, almost to the point of a incomplete story. It just went way too far on this one.

It is the evil heart of a battered and reeling Empire: Coruscant, the giant city-world from whose massive towers the Imperial High Command directs the war. The Rebels will invade this mighty citadel in a daring move to bring the Empire to its knees. But first Wedge Antilles and his X-wing pilots must infiltrate Coruscant to gain vital intelligence information. Capture means death or, worse, enslavement by the vicious leader known as "Iceheart": Ysanne Isard, now Emperor in all but name.

Henry Thomas's performance is good, but some of the charters sound too similar. It lacks the details that make it a really good book, as the abridged story just leaves out too much of what make the book so much more enjoyable and complete.

Not bad, by any means - good book, well read... while some of the charters are familiar from previous books in the x-wing series, it just doesn't feel like the other x-wing books...
