The stories in Simon Rich's new book, The Last Girlfriend on Earth, are bizarre, funny, and yet...relatable. Rich explores love's many complications - losing it, finding it, breaking it, and making it - and turns the ordinary into the absurd. With razor-sharp humor, and just in time for Valentine's Day, the story “Eureka” takes listeners for an exhilarating, hilarious ride on the rollercoaster of love.

James Patterson did another great job here. He had three different story lines going. You are not sure if they tie together are not. Along with the plots, there were personal story lines going on with three of the main characters. He is just a great author. Really enjoyed the book.

For Vito Corleone, nothing is more important than his family's future. While his youngest children, Michael, Fredo, and Connie, are in school, unaware of their father's true occupation, and his adopted son Tom Hagen is a college student, he worries most about Sonny, his eldest child. Vito pushes Sonny to be a businessman, but Sonny - 17 years old, impatient, and reckless - wants something else: To follow in his father's footsteps and become a part of the real family business.

Would you listen to The Family Corleone again? Why?

I would listen to the book again. It was well written and I liked the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Vito Corleone. He was the stoic Don - the Godfather. I also enjoyed getting additional background on Luca Brasi.

Which character – as performed by Bobby Cannavale – was your favorite?

I enjoyed them all. No favorite.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really.

Any additional comments?

It was interesting listening to parts are the story and knowing what was in store for them in the future years.

Several reviews that have been written complained about too many killings, too much sex, and too little originality. I think they were listening to a different book. Don't be swayed by these reviews. They are way off!!!!

This Chinese treatise on war was written by Sun Tzu in the 6th century BC. Each one of the 13 chapters is devoted to a different aspect of warfare, making it the definitive work on military strategies and tactics of its time. Studied by generals from Napoleon to Rommel it is still one of the most influential works on the subject and is required reading in most military academies around the world.
