Written at the request of Charles Dickens, North and South is a book about rebellion that poses fundamental questions about the nature of social authority and obedience. Gaskell expertly blends individual feeling with social concern and her heroine, Margaret Hale, is one of the most original creations of Victorian literature. When Margaret Hale's father leaves the Church in a crisis of conscience she is forced to leave her comfortable home in the tranquil countryside of Hampshire....

Chase Winters was the bane of my existence. But he was also the lifeline of my heart and soul. Literally. Things are steaming up between us, and between the sheets. When his lips weren't locked with mine, they were spewing verbal crap. Half the time I don't know whether to kiss him or slap him. Our bond was more than just being connected, we are soulbound. The closer we get, the stronger the bond takes hold and now-a-days it seemed we are inseparable.

Not something I’m going talk about To others as it hasn’t moved my heart to staying up till odd times to listen however it was consistently good enough to keep Me Interested and finished in a timely manner. Still unsure if I will read the next book. The strong love-hate feels like emotional whiplash and gets exhausting at times.

Love this story. Loved the language use.
Loved Ruck and his nobility and manliness. He didn’t become a door mat and it was refreshing and real.
Melanthe was complicated and at time exasperating but as a woman, it all made sense.
Loved the narrator! He brings the story to a new depth I might have missed otherwise. Definitely worth repeating.

I wondered what my life would have been like if we had never moved to the ho-dunk town of Spring Valley, Illinois. Sure the internet service was splotchy, there was nothing but miles of wheat fields, and I probably wouldn't be faced with death at every corner. My only neighbor in this god-forsaken town was...well there really was only one to describe him, hot as hell. With his sinful dark looks, unusually silver eyes, and kissable lips, there was something about him that was more than meets the eye.

In the second book of The Watcher Chronicles series, Jess finally learns where her father has been since the Tear first opened. While Mason tries to keep his distance from her, Jess continues to search for the other vessels with Chandler by her side. This series is intended for a mature audience. Recommended for ages 17 and older due to sexual situations and adult themes. If I were to use the movie rating system, I would rate this series an R.

Love this book. The story had slow spots, as do all Older stories. Loved professor Challenger! He has born much in the way of analytical thinking. I love the gruff, old English gentleman coming out in the narrator. He really lifted my enjoyment of the book.
