For time out of mind, bloodthirsty demons have stalked the night, culling the human race to scattered remnants dependent on half-forgotten magics to protect them. Then two heroes arose - men as close as brothers, yet divided by bitter betrayal. Arlen Bales became known as the Warded Man, tattooed head to toe with powerful magic symbols that enable him to fight demons in hand-to-hand combat-and emerge victorious.

Would you consider the audio edition of Snake Eyes to be better than the print version?

Didn't ready the printed version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Snake Eyes?

It would be a huge spoiler if I answered.

Which character – as performed by James Patrick Cronin – was your favorite?

I'll have to go this Tonya.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really. Definitely some exciting parts though.

Any additional comments?

Love this series and all of the characters. Hoping the next installment is just as good.

The Seven Forges are a range of impassable mountains, far to the north of the settled lands of Fellein. From time to time explorers venture up beyond the Blasted Lands in search of a way over them and the promise of legendary riches, but without success. Now Captain Merros Dulver has found a path, and encountered, at last, the half-forgotten people who dwell there. And it would appear they were expecting him.

Normally I really like Terry Brooks, but this story I didn't care for much. Maybe it need more action and less of the characters redundant introspection. How many times do we need to hear a character thinking the same thing over and over.

Also it was pretty clear which direction the book was going to go within a half hour of listening.
