Alexa O'Brien is a rarity among supernaturals. A hunter of supernatural rogues, she's a werewolf with unusual but extraordinary power. Power that fiercely draws her to Arys, the intriguing sexy-as-sin vampire who awakens her dark side. What they create together is dangerous and binding, a unique but massive force that threatens her humanity and tests the love she possesses for someone else.

Alexa was violently changed to werewolf after finding her family savagely killed. She grew into powers stronger than normal and worked for an agency that settled paranormal scores, never discovering her families killer or her maker. She becomes power joined to a vampire (with much heat and steam), much to the chagrin of her pack mate love.
I see the love triangle and power growth similarities to Laurel Hamilton’s Anita Blake heroine. Once Bitten has a less dark feel but is just as engaging. I truly enjoyed every minute of meeting the characters and experiencing their non-stop action.
Narration was excellent. I was voluntarily given this copy with a request for my honest review.

I caught my former prick of a boyfriend from Heavy Metal Enthusiasts doing a groupie doggie-style backstage on the night we were supposed to be celebrating our one-year anniversary. He told me I was too uptight. Too vanilla. Too boring. So I got drunk with my bestie, Marsha West, the aspiring videographer. I ranted. I raved. I came up with a crazy idea. What I didn't know was that my best friend recorded me. Marsha put the video up on YouTube. It went viral with 10 million hits. Now I've got fans and sponsors offering me big bucks.

PET PEEVE: If the cover was to portray the main H, it fails. Lucky has long enough dark hair that it falls in his face, and a happy trail.

Just like men, woman should be able to choose one night stands and not be labelled a slut. Raven is burning with anger over this after catching her boyfriend rocker sexing up some groupie. Her drunken rant about forming a Rock F*ck Club gets captured on video and uploaded to youtube, becoming an instant hit. For the life of me, I just cannot understand how the Rock F**k Club demonstrates that point. Raven publicly strips to outshine other women for the band member she chooses so he’ll f**k her that night. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but isn’t that giving the rocker what he wants anyway? The most eye-catching girl in the room? So the outcome is the same whether it’s the RFC chic or Raven catching his attention without the hoopla.

I think Raven begins to understand the futility of the mission just as her heart finds Lucky, the one man that could free her from the anger and shame she carries. Only Lucky’s band isn’t on the tour list and he doesn’t want a one night stand. Raven has to choose between Lucky and the contract she signed for enough money to save her friend Marsha from the shit she’s in.

Wen Ross does a very sexy and outstanding British accent. The two narrators together never disappoint. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I seriously started making a list. These terms took the sex into the comedic arena. Examples: Tickled her nether lips. Globes of her rear. Throbbing, pulsing bar of heat. Sticky.... her female nectar. And even, Buttocks. There were more but that’s all I made note of.
But seriously. The story premise was a good one and I found myself involved in the story to the end. Persephone Rose did his best considering the narrative, with great male voice. His female voice wasn’t as engaging, though.

All I can do is smile because it's A-OK 👌🏻

She’s always wanted Rylan with a fierceness bordering on obsession. Getting him to agree to take her may be her only shot at having him in her bed, but Rylan’s reluctant agreement comes with three stipulations. One: She can’t tell anyone. Two: She’ll have to be okay with him being her main partner, even if it’s completely weird for them both. Three: She has to do anything he tells her to - no questions asked.

Don’t expect Nick to be the troubled past bad boy. He’s a cop from a family of good men. The beginning disaster seemed so rushed that it took away from the sheer magnitude of the incident. There wasn’t any connection to the people so I felt little remorse. But it was good that there wasn’t instant puffy hearts seeping from either Darcy or Nick upon their first meeting. When the danger picked up they found their lives joined in hiding. Which lead to joining in other ways, even though Darcy has a reason not to fall for a cop.

A sexy, steamy short story. Narration was spot on for the female voices but I didn’t care much for her male renditions.

Never mix business and pleasure. That's what a smart business owner would do. Apparently, I'm not that bright. Desperate to get my failing web design firm off the ground, I sent a proposal to Gabriel, a rising rock star in the indie scene. He flat out told me that my design sucked. Luckily, he's willing to give me a second chance. But he's requiring me to do some unconventional things to get a better grasp of what he and his band are about. Go to a rock festival. Spend more time with him. I'll do anything to land this job. Everyone knows that rock stars don't do relationships....

This was really good. It was uplifting, and sexy. It made me cry, but only because I thought of my cat Monster when Katie was reunited with her dog. And it reminded me of the real power of positivity, similar to what is taught in the book “The Secret.”
It’s not a self-help, mumbo-jumbo book on life, but a sweet and real romance, or two, or maybe later a third, with a HEA.
Great narrative job done by Mare Trevathan.

She takes time to develop a scenario that makes believable the interactions and ultimate relationship between Hunter and Skye. In doing so, the supporting caste develop their own separate identities and makes me want to know more of their future. A new world has been opened to me. One that has evaded a devastating blow but is still in turmoil and danger.
