As much as I admire R. Branson as an entrepreneur and person we all can learn much from, but this book got only revised and happened because of president Trump and climate change. Typical liberal propaganda.
If anyone wants to know how Europe got destroyed, I advise to read it!

In The Butchering Art, the historian Lindsey Fitzharris reveals the shocking world of 19th-century surgery on the eve of profound transformation. She conjures up early operating theaters - no place for the squeamish - and surgeons, working before anesthesia, who were lauded for their speed and brute strength. They were baffled by the persistent infections that kept mortality rates stubbornly high. A young, melancholy Quaker surgeon named Joseph Lister would solve the deadly riddle and change the course of history.

Though they have the vote and the Pill and haven't been burned as witches since 1727, life isn't exactly a stroll down the catwalk for modern women. They are beset by uncertainties and questions: Why are they supposed to get Brazilians? Why do bras hurt? Why the incessant talk about babies? And do men secretly hate them? Caitlin Moran interweaves provocative observations on women's lives with laugh-out-loud funny scenes from her own, from adolescence to her development as a writer, wife, and mother.

Why do I have to obscure, rude and behave like a dumb dude to be a woman?
Seriously, I wish there was return policy!
I would probably describe this as 'yikes '.

Losing weight and successfully maintaining it over the long term is not as much about what you put in your stomach; it's more about what's happening in the brain. In Brain-Powered Weight Loss, psychotherapist and weight management expert Eliza Kingsford shows that more than 90 percent of people who go on diet programs (even healthy ones) fail or eventually regain because they have a dysfunctional relationship with food.

Very well written and very helpful had I read it first, but I didn't. I've read dr. Amen's "Change your brain change your life", which has a bit more science and that works for me better.
Very nice book, though, thank you:)
