With nothing left to lose, he returns to his family's summer cabin outside the small mountain town of Roseland, Oregon, to try to find some sense of direction. The cabin should be empty. It's not.

Really great listen. Well developed characters with the right amount of skepticism and acceptance in a fantasy paranormal situation. With just the right amount of sexual tension.

I really loved the first in this series. The second is a close second. So well written, especially for narration. The repetition of certain parts is poetic. A continuation of a great story from another character's perspective, there's a good balance of action, paranormal fantasy and romance.

I ended up finishing the book in three evenings. I was quickly engrossed. The main character is a self deprecating super hero. The story creates an interesting world that is outrageous enough to be entertaining without being lopsided and distracting from the story.

Looking forward to the next book.

Here at GearShark, we're straddling that line to bring you exclusive coverage of what some have dubbed the war of racing. Every war starts with a spark and ends in revolution. Drew Forrester was the spark, but his second-in-command, Trent Mask, is the revolution. What does it take to stand brave in the face of opposition? Resolve of steel.... Stubborn will.... And a heart that refuses to give up.

Once I got used to the very campy gay style, I settled in for a hilarious, overly sensational story. The fantasy world of princes, knights, wizards, dragons and gay unicorns was so very well thought out and well played.

Michael Lesley did a fantastic job bringing each character to life. Bravo!
