This story had so much potential, a strong quirky heroine and heroic hero, lovely feisty chemistry ... oh well I have reached the stage where we need to wrap up so boom done!
I am sure lots will love it, as I did to the point of capture, but there were so many sub-plot options put in, so I query, why put them in if they're not going to be developed.
This was a good basic story which whetted my appetite and gave me a sense of whoa where's the rest...

School discipline is broken. Too often, the kids who need our help the most are viewed as disrespectful, out of control, and beyond help, and are often the recipients of our most ineffective, most punitive interventions. These students - and their parents, teachers, and administrators - are frustrated and desperate for answers. Dr. Ross W. Greene, author of the acclaimed book The Explosive Child, offers educators and parents a different framework for understanding challenging behavior.

Not all books can be read/listened to more than once, this is one of those which can.
I picked up subplots which I must have skimmed over the first time through and so uped the enjoyment.
Multidimensional characters, ending came too soon, I hungered for more so hoping we get to visit this community again for stories on other members of the family and/or community!
Throughly recommend to anyone who enjoys stories with characters with gumption.
