There is no sun. There is no moon. There is only gray - the smog belched from coal-fueled factories. The Workers silently shuffle to their assigned posts. The Outcasts watch from the alley walls. On every corner, a Watcher stands stone-faced, a rifle in hand. This is the only life that exists. Beyond the mountains is a dream. But dreams are foolish in a place like this. Hannah has spent 19 years dodging Watchers and doing as she is told. When she wakes to the valley exploding in revolution, Hannah is forced onto a dangerous path, where nothing is what she believed.

What made the experience of listening to Slave, Book 1 the most enjoyable?

Starts a little slow but picks up quickly. Shows the bravery of a young woman in a rather hostile environment and how she makes it out and finds friendship and love along the way.

I was gifted with this free book for an honest review.

Will definitely be purchasing the other books from this series.

The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men's locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don't mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel just as I asked the first question. On camera.

What did you love best about The Baller?

Strong plot through out story. Never really a bland or lagging period during the read.

What does Mackenzie Cartwright and Sean Crisden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Both narrators were well suited to their part and their tone and inflection helps make the story great.

Gradually, he eased me back until my head rested on the pillows. He stroked my hair from my face, his gaze meeting mine with hot tenderness. He bent forward and captured my lips again, his tongue tracing their outline with maddening gentleness. His hand found its way back to my breast but this time he slipped his fingers under the neckline of my dress and beneath the silky fabric of my bra....

What did you like best about Billionaire Romance: The Billionaire & The Babysitter? What did you like least?

The story was short and simple to listen to. I'm not a fan of the mystery aspect but over all a decent quick read. Narration felt stilted to me.

This book written from the girl's prospective is very well one of my favorite of late. Yeah, it's the zombie theme and I would have liked the transition process to take longer; but, it's a novella not a series. Though it could easily been stretched into at least a trilogy. Book was greatly enjoyed and completed in one listening session.
This book was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. Definitely recommend as an outside school read.

Cliffhanger. Though the story was interesting if the ending was a true cliffhanger which drives me up the wall. The least the author could do is conclude the current story. Again, the story idea was not bad but the ending turns me off of future stories by this author. This book was gifted to me for a true and honest review.
