I read series books in order. Was surprised to find the GIRL baby born in the previous book and become a BOY. I get very annoyed when authors do not make sure their series books have no continuity

I enjoyed this series but it REALLY annoys me when an author does not keep the back stories of characters the same throughput. Ex. Meg’s friend in Boston

This is one of the best mysteries I have ever read. The character development and intrigue kept me interested until the end.

It is obvious the narrator has not researched the proper way to pronounce places like Lafayette, foods like beignets, and Chi ( as in Chi Omega), to name a few.

This is very different from a Kay Scarpetta novel! Quirky, but great story. Interesting characters. Down right funny in places.

Great story and narrator. Parts are extremely funny. Others entirely too realistic and make one worry about our legal system

This was my first Julie Garwood read and I loved it! The story line was great; the hero strong, yet vulnerable; his "lady" fearless but very female; and the humor wonderful. I had flashbacks of Georgette Heyer but with sex.
