More than seven decades after the end of the Second World War, the era of the Nazi hunters is drawing to a close as they and the hunted die off. Their saga can now be told almost in its entirety. After the Nuremberg trials and the start of the Cold War, most of the victors in World War II lost interest in prosecuting Nazi war criminals. Many of the lower-ranking perpetrators quickly blended in with the millions who were seeking to rebuild their lives in a new Europe, while those who felt most at risk fled the continent.

Get ready to laugh. Get ready to be outraged. And get ready to see polygamy as no one has ever revealed it before. Joanne tells their crazy story with humor and honesty. You'll share her angst over sharing her husband. You'll meet her "sister wives", a prophet calling himself a "celestial stud service" who seeks divine guidance on threesomes, and apostles who dress in weird robes to curse the White House. You'll fume at gut-wrenching tales of racism, sexual abuse, fraud, and manipulation.

This book will have you laughing out loud at its hilarious dry wit while at the same time taking you into a sobering and frightening world that becomes a prison of belief for its members. It's a rare treat to both find the humor in life in a dangerous cult while evoking feelings of being trapped in a world of insanity and finally emerging into a healed and happy life. Extraordinary!!!

In September 2007, Elissa Wall, the star witness against polygamous sect leader Warren Jeffs, gave captivating testimony of how Jeffs forced her to marry her first cousin at age 14. This harrowing account proved to be the most compelling evidence against Jeffs, showing the harsh realities of this closed community and the lengths to which Jeffs went in order to control the sect's women. Now, in this courageous memoir, Wall tells the incredible story of how she emerged from the confines of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints and helped bring one of America's most notorious criminals to justice.

Great detail about the suffering caused by Warren Jeffs. Jail is too good for this monster! Engrossing story of human triumph told so well that you can feel you're there. Awful narration. Almost couldn't stand to listen to the narrator's attempts at a little girl's voice but the story made it worth enduring. Please rerecord with a better narrator.
