Only a privileged few know L'Ange's head of security, Arman de Soto, is a shifter, and even fewer know he's been systematically killing off a pack of werewolves. The reason for this vengeance is a secret Arman trusts with no one, quite the opposite of his obvious longtime pursuit of the chateau's overseer, Linus Hobbes. Despite Arman's reputation as a loner, the only thing he needs to complete his life is Linus. Predator and prey just don't mix, but Arman won't give him up.

I may have listened to this story 10 times!!!
I adore how much Arman loves Linus! And what he was willing to do for the man he loved.
No questions asked, no advice/approval from others. Just took care of things!
I have read all of Ms. Calmes stories and no matter how short the story is, she always writes her characters with feeling and depth. You get to know them and fall in love with them along the way.
She is a favorite of mine and I look forward to each new story.

I really enjoy this author. Her characters are well developed, relatable, and loveable.
I liked the narrators voice but often felt like he was speed reading, trying to get done really fast. Sometimes it took me a second to realize which character was speaking because he didn't pause and the main characters had the same voice. It wasn't bad... I've definitely heard worse but I enjoyed the story anyway.
Next book I come across with this narrator though....I think I'd consider the Kindle version.

Everyone in Mangrove, Florida, knows Fire Chief Essien Dodd is a saint. He took care of his ex-wife until she died, is raising his teenage daughter alone, and is the kind of man who pulls kittens from trees. All in all, the man's a catch. But Roark Hammond has sworn off getting involved with a man who's been hurt before because he can't guarantee he won't hurt his prospective love again. If only he could get Essien out of his mind long enough to focus on anyone, or anything, else.

If you could sum up Sleeping 'til Sunrise in three words, what would they be?

Magnificent short story!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ivy was adorable and happy. Loved her.

Which character – as performed by Greg Tremblay – was your favorite?

Essien... Well. It's a bit hard to choose one. He does a fantastic job on each character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Absolutely. The part where Roark is telling Essien why they couldn't be together. Broke my heart!

Any additional comments?

Can I just say...I wish we could go back and have Greg Tremblay read all of Mary Calmes books!! Her shorts are thorough without being overly detailed. Just enough information to be enough, not too much to get bogged down with. Every detail necessary so there are no dry spots in her stories. A fantastic story. I've finished all the Mangrove series and adore them all. She made a great choice in Greg Tremblay! His characters stay true and the life he gives them is incredible. He makes a good story into an out of this world story!
i could listen to that man read the dictionary!
Thanks for some very enjoyable hours, Ms. Calmes and Mr. Tremblay. What a pair up!

This is my 4th time listening to this story because I love it! Most of the story's of the Carpathians are about strong men and women. This is no different but it shows just how "strong" and wild Zacharais really is. Even when you think he's changed, his character holds true and there isn't a miraculous change that overcomes him. He doesn't suddenly become a nice, mild mannered person. I think I like that best. He stays rough and dominant and Margarita struggles to find him loveable at one point.
It's a great story and I adored the characters. The story never bored me, though there was quite a bit of soul searching involved and that usually has me fast forwarding through it. But
in this case, it was necessary for the development of the characters and story. And-it was key in understanding the darkness in Zacharais.
The narrators were amazing! So perfect and kept all the voices straight! It's so awesome to have the story read in his/her voice. Makes it so much more enjoyable. Kudos to them both!
I've either read or listened to the entire series as it stands right now but I always come back to this one.
Worth the credit. You won't be disappointed!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It was a fun story. I liked that it was set in France, mainly after Vegas and we got to see Paris through her eyes. And I loved that Ansel wanted to keep Mia and did his best to coerce her into staying. He was so sweet!!

What other book might you compare Sweet Filthy Boy to and why?

CL books? That's a tough one. I like all CL books because they are different....
.different story's, etc. So. Hard to compare.

What three words best describe Shayna Thibodeaux’s performance?

She did great! Her French accent seemed to improve as the story went along.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Loved by a Frenchman!

Any additional comments?

I just wish Jason Carpenter could have done Ansels POV voice. His Sweet Filthy Morning After was amazing! I think they should re-do the studio with Jason as well as Shayna.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is most definitely an audio I will recommend. The author created a story so rich with detail that was not boring (as some authors are) but enriching to the story. I was a bit wary of the 18 hour time but it was so worth it! I've listened to this two times! I'm sure it won't be the last!!

What did you like best about this story?

Where do I start?
The portrayal of the Dukes utter frustration and desperation at his lack of ability to communicate during this story. It was heartbreaking. Her willingness to help him... So many things!

What does Nicholas Boulton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

You could not have chosen a better narrator for this story. His acting abilities brought these characters to life. He had me laughing out loud (kill him when you need him) and crying at parts of this story. Mr. Boulton is a tremendous actor. There aren't words clever enough to describe his abilities. He's miraculous! I just wish there were more books available that he's narrated! He's in a class all by himself.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Believe me, I tried! There is something about the right combination of story and narrator that just creates magic. Laura Kinsale and Nicholas Boulton are just that....Magic!

Any additional comments?

What a story! It digs down deep inside of you and pulls out so much emotion. A treat I feel privileged to have enjoyed! I've "read" all the other books by Laura Kinsale with Nicholas Boulton. A true pleasure.

Well... I have to say yes. It was great to get a story that was from the mans perspective. Unusual but awesome!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tangled?

I loved how he tried to court her. That was fun.

Which scene was your favorite?

The ending scene when he made all those changes to his place to give her a place in his life...sweet.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

His case of the "flu". . Felt bad for the guy who had everything...almost.

Any additional comments?

Sebastian York did a great job. Added just the right amount of cynical, jaded attitude. Very fluid and fun.

Would you listen to Beyond the Highland Mist again? Why?

Oh yes! It was a fun story and Phil Gigante is fabulous!

What did you like best about this story?

It's my first Karen Marie Moning book... Loved the whole time travel story.

Have you listened to any of Phil Gigante’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first Phil Gigante performance. And what a performance he did!! He is amazing! I quite think I'm in love with his voice.... Sigh~ I have already ordered the rest of the series. His character definition was great... No two sounded alike. And his brogue.... Yeah... I could eat him up! He truly made the story..it did not sound read and was fluid. He did a great job on the faerie voices when speaking to the mortals. I couldn't turn this story off- even for sleep!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Well, Hawk was so desperate for her and she just held out soooo long...I'm not sure how she could but his torment was sad. For a guy who was used to getting what he wanted, He had to fight for this girl and her past with everything in him. Knew there would be a nice resolution but it was hard to see them both so miserable.

Any additional comments?

Great, fun story! Can't wait to start the next one! So glad Phil Gigante is performing the series! Marvelous acting!

Would you try another book from Molly Harper and/or Amanda Ronconi?

I would. I enjoy the "attitude" that Amanda lends the heroine in each story. She brings them to life as normal.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hard to choose a favorite but my tendency is to go for Nick. He hung in there when he could have just picked himself up and skeedattled out of there at the first sign of trouble. Gotta love that.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amanda is an interesting character voice....she has made the Molly Harper characters believable and as I said, normal. I enjoy her little bit of sass and think she was an excellent fit for the feeling that Molly Harper wanted to portray.

Could you see And One Last Thing... being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

oh wow. Now that would be fun. Need a female lead who can pull off sarcastic, sassy and strong without seeming overbearing and obnoxious. I'll have to think on that .
Nicks character needs to be the sweet nerd, with a soft side.

Any additional comments?

Thanks for a good "read" Molly Harper. Amanda, you made it fun and I appreciated that.
