In 2011, a 26-year-old libertarian programmer named Ross Ulbricht launched the ultimate free market: the Silk Road, a clandestine website hosted on the Dark Web where anyone could trade anything - drugs, hacking software, forged passports, counterfeit cash, poisons - free of the government's watchful eye. It wasn't long before the media got wind of the new website where anyone - not just teenagers and weed dealers but terrorists and black hat hackers - could buy and sell contraband detection-free.

I love these kind of stories and this book was great from beginning to end. At the end, the author talks about how much work went into researching everything, interviewing everyone, and even down the the point of him looking up the dates to see how the weather was that day to where he could tell the story as precise as possible. It's obvious a lot of work went into this book and it was a really good story that was well written and narrated. Great, great book.

When it comes to Stephen Curry - point guard for the Golden State Warriors and reigning MVP of the NBA - journalists, fans, and sports analysts are running out of ways to say "wow". Deemed too small and too short at 6'3" and 180 pounds by NBA coaches around the league, Curry has taken the game back from the bigger men who usually dominate the court.

Very, very corny at times. Almost to the point that it's like a children's book. The narrator is perfect for this kind of book, but it didn't really live up to my expectations. I was thinking there would be more in depth stories on who Steph is as a person and whatnot. It was more of a breakdown of his games and what was going on in more detail. It also skipped all over the place. It goes from a playoff game to his childhood, to another playoff game, to meeting his wife. Could've been better, but it definitely wasn't terrible and I did learn a lot about Steph in general, but I didn't know an insane amount about him to begin with. So use that information as you please.

Nothing really groundbreaking and it has some corny dialogue at times. It also goes into religion for a moment a little heavily. It's still worth the gold nuggets in the book to listen for though.

Here is Trump in action—how he runs his organization and how he runs his life—as he meets the people he needs to meet, chats with family and friends, clashes with enemies, and challenges conventional thinking. But even a maverick plays by rules, and Trump has formulated time-tested guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker's art. And throughout, Trump talks—really talks—about how he does it.

I have a tendency of listening to 3-4 books (on completely separate topics so I don't get them crossed) at a time. Ended up starting this one and didn't listen to another until it was over with.

A great book, a great narration, and a great motivation. No wonder it's a classic!

Absolute great book. Doesn't talk in vague cliches on business or anything like that. Keeps it real and in terms anyone (even those without business knowledge) can understand. Has a list of examples, easy terminology, realness, and some motivation as well. It also has an interview at the end, which was a good plus. If you're on the fence, just go ahead and purchase. You won't regret it.

I'm not going to act like this made me completely understand astrophysics by any means. Honestly, a lot of it was over my head. Maybe I just needed it dumbed down a little, but I also listen to books while working, so I'm sure I could've taken in a little more if I weren't preoccupied, although my job doesn't effect my listening very much.

In short, it's a great book and Neil deGrasse Tyson has an awesome voice, so the narration is great. I'll end up buying the physical copy as well (like I do with most books to add to my library) because I think it'll help me review a little easier. With that said, I'm not bashing the book and feel like anyone interested in this topic would love the purchase.

Since Darwin's day, we've been told that sexual monogamy comes naturally to our species.
