Before Harry took on the neo-Nazi gangs of Oslo, before he met Rakel, before The Snowman tried to take everything he held dear, he went to Australia. Harry Hole is sent to Sydney to investigate the murder of Inger Holter, a young Norwegian girl who was working in a bar. Initially sidelined as an outsider, Harry becomes central to the Australian police investigation when they start to notice a number of unsolved rape and murder cases around the country. The victims were usually young blondes. Inger had a number of admirers, each with his own share of secrets, but there is no obvious suspect.

I found this to be very hard to follow or even slightly keep me on the edge of my seat. Between the the full narration and boring storyline I felt unfulfilled. Don't waste your credits on this one!

Beck is everything Joe has ever wanted: she's gorgeous, tough, razor-smart, and sexy beyond his wildest dreams. Joe needs to have her, and he'll stop at nothing to do so. As he begins to insinuate himself into her life - her friendships, her email, her phone - she can’t resist her feelings for a guy who seems custom-made for her. So when her boyfriend, Benji, mysteriously disappears, Beck and Joe fall into a tumultuous affair. But there's more to Beck than her oh-so-perfect façade.

First, I would not call this book a romance and I surely do not get all the hype ratings. At times I felt like I was in a twisted triangle...50 shades of girl gone on a train! Here's the thing, this book, it had huge potential but fell flat. I mean the trail was there not sure why the author didn't pick up the scent...make Beck to be an even crazier psycho than Joe. Where she set him up from the beginning knowing he would kill Benji and Peach for her. Yeah, that didn't happen just a psycho stalker killer who's on to the next victim. The only climax was the raunchy sex scenes. I feel so empty I think I need cake!

Eloise Foley, known to her friends as Weezie, has been through the divorce from hell. Her ex-husband Tal (aka Talmadge Evans III) was awarded their house in Savannah's historic district, the house that Weezie had spent years painstakingly restoring to its original splendor.
