My body will burn with need. My mind will go mad with lust. Then he’ll consume my soul. I thought I knew how to handle a man like him, but there are no men like him. Though he is a billionaire, when he desired me he did not try to buy me, and when he wanted me bared and bound he didn’t call his bodyguards. He did it himself, even as I fought him, because he could. He told me soon I would beg him to ravage me…and I did. But it wasn’t the pain of his belt searing my naked backside that drove me to plead with him to use me so shamefully I might never stop blushing.

Narrator was amazing; had very distinct voices for the different characters. The storyline isn’t bad, but it stops being a story and is pure sex scenes for most of the second half of the book which I didn’t care for. The book could have omitted that and been amazing. Dark, paranormal theme. 🎧 AudiobookObsession

Reeve Larkin needs a job. Sure, the actor is talented and gorgeous in that dreamy, broody sort of way that makes all the women swoon. But he lost out on a part in a big movie, and now his day job hours have been slashed too. What's a handsome young thing in need of a role to do? Sign up to be the fake fiancé of the sexy and shrewd casting director Sutton Brenner, who must appear temporarily attached if she's to land a coveted gig casting a red-hot film.

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego". (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...and a virgin. At least those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

The pace continues the same from book 1...slow. The characters and relationships are under developed, especially for book 2. If you really enjoyed the first, I would assume you would really enjoy this book, though. Caution: at some point towards the end the story turns to the horror genre. I am not sure where the author is going.

I woke up five hours late after a reckless one-night stand with the sexiest, cockiest, and most arrogant man I’ve ever met. My top two clients for my PR company left to my number one competitor, my roommate "accidentally" bleached my favorite suit, and my favorite coffee shop was shut down for "health concerns". Still, none of those things dimmed my excitement for what was supposed to be the best four o’clock signing session of my career. Then that sexy, arrogant one-night stand stepped into my office with a familiar smirk and introduced himself as my new, cocky client....

Nice continuation of the Big Bad Bunny world. The story moves the entire cast of characters from where book one left off. But now has the focus on Jesse and Brady. I had some odd editing issues in two chapters, as if the audio track was scratched (old school!) But it does not detract from the story.

Being a doctor in New York City has never been easy. Especially for someone like me, who has a private practice and an incompetent staff who insists on leaving me to fill in for them. When my team finally came to their senses and decided to bring someone more competent into the practice last month, I was actually elated. I dig. It's what I do. I'll literally use a shovel to answer a question. Some answers, though, have been buried too deep for too long. But I'll find those, too. And I know where to dig - the Blackwood Estate on the edge of the Mississippi Delta. Garrett Blackwood is the only thing standing between me and the truth. A broken man - one with desires that dance in the darkest part of my soul - he's either my savior or my enemy. I'll dig until I find all his secrets. Then I'll run so he never finds mine. The only problem? He likes it when I run.

This was tough to get through. The hero likes BDSM which I think is the dark theme noted. It is lightly covered, not the focus. Murder, mystery suspense-okay, but it was just flat. I normally adore this narrator but even that was off too! And there was only one narrator; It clearly states two narrators on the book profile.
