One of my favorites of the books I've gotten from Audible. The narrator is terrific and the story is compelling. I really cared about the characters, all of whom seemed very real.

In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

I laughed out loud and nearly wept in public as I listened to this book. It is one of the best books I've read/heard in a long time. The narrator found a distinctive voice for each character and the writer pulls you deep into the compelling story.
