This is a brilliat, magnificent story, a magical action packed page turner. Another great adventure of the old world, perhaps one of the best. Vampires, werewolves, witches and humans in a battle of power, and justice you can't afford to miss. The characters are incredibly real and complex, each twists and turns are unpredictable, and emotionally draining. Lex, is a very captivating character, but I have to confess, Maven is my favorite cardinal vampire. She is a por, smart, and humble leader, always trying to be fair without altering the delicate balance of their worlds. I'm addicted to these author series, and every time they are better, like a hurricane of magical adventures, filled with surprising events, the narrator's voice is a monumental element of attraction, the voice that guide you through it all. Excellent, magnificent work of Melissa F. Olsen, I loved it since the first page and I definitely recommend it.
