Does nature really make us feel better? The 3-Day Effect takes a look at the science behind why being in the wild can make us happier, healthier, and more creative. Whether it’s rafting down Utah’s Green River, hiking in Utah’s wilderness, or walking through Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, scientists are finding that the more exposure humans have to nature, the more we can benefit from reduced anxiety, enhanced creativity, and overall well-being.

Loved this. It brings the very complicated functions of the brain that has suffered trauma down to earth. Pun intended.

It shows that there are better options than drugs or years of therapy, although both can be helpful and life saving.

When we pull away from the modern stresses of a world striving endlessly our brain and body begin to heal and restore.

This book is full. It is the result of the accumulation of a lifetime that has produced a full, rich and deep wisdom.
The Lord may just have put Pastor Jake's on this planet to write this one book.

I have shouted, repented and listened in awe as The Lord touched my heart and healed my soul through the knowledge and wisdom contained in this book.

At times it is almost too rich, too savory, to sweet. Like eating the wprlds most decadent piece of chocolate cake, it must be savored.

If you have struggled with the pains of life and the crushing of your past, please get this book. The Lord is Good.
