Today, most doctors, dietitians, and even diabetes specialists consider type 2 diabetes to be a chronic and progressive disease - a life sentence with no possibility of parole. But the truth, as Dr. Fung reveals in this paradigm-shifting book, is that type 2 diabetes is reversible. Writing with clear, persuasive language, he explains why conventional treatments that rely on insulin or other blood-glucose-lowering drugs can actually exacerbate the problem, leading to significant weight gain and even heart disease.

Another wonderful and straight forward book by Jason Fung, MD. As a family doctor I see the ravages of diabetes every day in my patients from diabetes. Once you see an amputated appendage you never forget it. This book is my game plan for helping avoid the ravages of diabetes. I pre-ordered multiple copies and have given them to my medical colleagues already. Doctors need data! Thank you Dr. Fung for giving us the data to finally treat type 2 diabetes as the nutritional disease it as always been.

Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google are the four most influential companies on the planet. Just about everyone thinks they know how they got there. Just about everyone is wrong. For all that's been written about the Four over the last two decades, no one has captured their power and staggering success as insightfully as Scott Galloway. Instead of buying the myths these companies broadcast, Galloway asks fundamental questions.

Excellent explanation of the dominant players in both our business and social. Motivational in getting “old dogs” to learn the “new tricks”. Great career pearls and pitfalls for the coming generation. Will recommend it.

The Evolution of Medicine provides step-by-step instruction for building a successful "community micropractice", one that engages both the patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership focused on the body as a whole rather than isolated symptoms. This invaluable handbook will awaken health professionals to exciting new career possibilities. At the same time, it will alleviate the fear of abandoning a conventional medical system that is bad for doctors, patients, and payers, as well as being ineffectual in the treatment of chronic ailments

Great overview of a model of medicine that can heal our "heath" system and also heal those that provide the care. Thanks for writing this book.
