Laurie Moran's professional life is a success - her television show, Under Suspicion, is a hit in both the ratings and its record of solving cold cases. But her romantic break from former host Alex Buckley has left her with on-air talent she can't stand - Ryan Nichols - and a sense of loneliness, despite her loving family. Now Ryan has suggested a new case. Three years ago Virginia Wakeling was found in the snow after being thrown from the museum's roof on the night of its most celebrated fund-raiser, the Met Gala.

As usual, another Under Suspicion series novel did not disappoint. My only complaint is in the narration. Except for a couple of characters, this new narrator wasn’t as good with the different voices as Jan Maxwell. Maybe I wouldn’t feel as much that way, if I hadn’t come to really like the characters the way that Jan Maxwell presented them.
All in all, it’s a good story. But maybe read the book in print instead of listening to audible for this one.

As a huge fan of The Princess Bride, since my husband and I saw it in the theater a million years ago, "wow" is an understatement. Thank-you, Cary Elwes (and all involved in this), for sharing so many interesting and poignant facts about this movie. I never thought I could enjoy The Princess Bride any more than I already do. Yet, after hearing this book, I'll be viewing it with even more depth and feeling. Well done!

To Kill a Mockingbird has been one of my favorite books for many years. It was fun to hear it being read to me on Audible, and I found myself noticing parts that I may not have noticed by just reading it.

Don't pass this one by. It feels like a mixture of "The Help" and "The Secret Life of Bees." I had a hard time putting it down.
