Don't fight for customers; let them fight over you! Have you ever queued for a restaurant? Preordered something months in advance? Fought for tickets that sell out in a day? Had a hairdresser with a six-month waiting list? There are people who don't chase clients; clients chase them. In a world of endless choices, why does this happen? Why do people queue up? Why do they pay more? Why will they book months in advance? Why are these people and products in such high demand?

Absolutely! Malcolm Gladwell Narrates and he is wonderful to listen to. The content is excellent and thought provoking.

What was one of the most memorable moments of David and Goliath?

I am about half way through and can not wait for my next car ride to listen further. The section on college selection criteria and results was quite interesting. I would recommend this to any parent or child in college selection decision mode!

Have you listened to any of Malcolm Gladwell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, Very good. As stated above, I am so glad he does the narration. I love listening to him speak, and the content is always interesting.

This book is intended for purchase alongside Robert B. Cialdini's original book Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion. Why did 38 neighbors in New York City observe a woman's cry for help yet fail to respond to her murder? How do Boy Scouts and Hare Krishnas capitalize on humans' automatic responses? According to Robert B. Cialdini, PhD, author of the best-selling classic Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, the answers lie in a basic understanding of human social behavior.
