Pretty much a nice modern pulp fiction short story which is very well narrated by Bronson Pinchot. Worth the purchase for a few bucks on sale.

What about Clive Merrison and Michael Williams ’s performance did you like?

Merrison is the perfect Sherlock Holmes, in my view. He is the voice of Holmes when I think of the character or when I read anything relating to the sleuth.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You could do that, I guess, but I rather enjoy listening to the audio plays in a piecemeal fashion.

Easy Street (the Hard Way) audiobook cover art

Ron Perlman is the man!!

Where does Easy Street (the Hard Way) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the better ones. Perlman's own story with his own narration makes this a great package overall.

What other book might you compare Easy Street (the Hard Way) to and why?

Oddly enough, having the author with such a unique voice and life makes me think of Henry Rollins and book called Get In The Van. Not to say they are exactly alike though.

Have you listened to any of Ron Perlman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

His voice and talent always deliver for me, personally. He's got a great set of vocals.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a few times throughout the narration.

Any additional comments?

If you a fan Mr Perlman and his acting gigs in the past (Name Of The Rose, Hellboy, etc.) then this a good investment in time. His own narration takes it to another level, and it impossible for me to think of anyone else doing his book justice via the voice delivery.
