I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

I am no book snob and have happily read my share of low brow time travel stories, such as those by Nathan van coops, with considerable enjoyment.

Rarely do I think I could do a better job. Until now.

This combination of author and narrator was so awful I was struggling to find which I hated more.

It is rare I give up on a book within the first few chapters

It’s possible I could have enjoyed the book when I was 9 years old, but even then not with this narrator.
