Trauma victims are not new to medical examiner Faith McIntyre, but this one is different. The unconscious woman clinging to life after a hit and run is FBI agent Macy Crow. What the woman from Quantico was doing in a dark alley after midnight is just one mystery. The other is more unsettling: Macy is Faith’s mirror image - the twin sister she never knew she had.

I’ve been in such a slump for months and nothing is holding my attention. Until this book. The only thing I can complain about is that it’s over :( from start to finish I was engrossed in the story! I love that there was always something new adding to the mystery, it kept me captivated and wanting to keep listening to see what would happen next. A true great mystery novel is when you can’t predict the villain. I can usually say “it was him” within the first 1/4 of the book but I could never figure it out with this one. A true gem! It flowed nicely, the narrator was great, and it was just an all around great listen.

I love firemen. Heroic. Selfless. Brave. I can't get enough. Imagine my surprise when local fire captain, Chase Matthews, wanders into my yard on moving day. I've hit real estate gold. Hot as sin with that all-knowing smirk creates an instant spark. But dating a firefighter isn't all it's cracked up to be. Chase keeps me at distance even when I attempt to break down his walls. A friendship with the nosy eccentric woman down the street reveals there's more to Chase than he's willing to share. I'm playing with fire and bound to get burned.

I really enjoyed listening to this. One because the narrator is excellent, and two because it was easy to stay engaged and yet not filled with angst and drama. As per usual romance novel it was slightly predictable but not to the point of eye rolling or boredom. It wasn’t smoking hot, but enough steam for the story. The author did a good job at character development. I felt like I knew each of the characters and liked most of them. The only character I couldn’t really relate with is Callie. She was way too naive and clueless. I did roll my eyes at her several times, but then again it was all part of the story. If she was real bright the story would have played out differently 🤣 overall it was a fun, entertaining romance. I needed a break from darker genres and this bit the spot perfectly!

I love taboo books. I was so excited when I seen this story about a student and teacher. I was hoping for an original story, however it felt like a cheap knock off of Dark Notes by Pam Godwin. I say knock off because it felt like she was trying to follow the same storyline, but it fell so flat. It was predictable to a laughing amount and the narrators were not a good fit at all. They both sounded so much older than the characters ages, and the male’s voice was not sexy at all.

Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything - including women. Now they're ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since childhood come true. Apparently I tick off every box on their list - brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places - which they find sexy as hell. One problem, I'm a traditional girl, with traditional values - one man, one woman, till death do us part - kind of values.

When I seen that my 3 favorite narrators were in a ménage I was so excited. I was sure that it would be amazing and super hot. Unfortunately I was not nearly as happy with it as I expected. It felt very bland. I expected thermonuclear, however the heat level was very low, which is uncommon in a ménage. I kept waiting for the panty wetting scenes and unfortunately I did not feel anything. At. All. I either like a great story with a little heat, or a lot of heat and a little story. This unfortunately had little story and little heat. Luckily I would listen to anything by these narrators so that’s a plus. Just don’t expect much. :(

Wow I don’t even know what to say. This second book was perfect. Even better than the first book! Sooo unlike any other book I’ve listened to. I love twisted and depraved, which this story totally was, and my sick dark soul loved every second. I was a little worried at the beginning when Cozy said she was going to straighten her life out. I thought well that’s going to be boring. I should have known better. I highly highly recommend this series!

I've always been a good girl. I work hard, I follow the rules, I always achieve my goals. But sometimes good girls want things that aren't good for them. Or someone who isn't good for them. Like their new boss. And sometimes they do very bad things to get his attention. Like sell their virginity in an auction. Who knew he'd be so very, very mad? Maybe this was not my best laid plan....

There aren’t a lot of authors who can make me happy 100% of the time. There’s always that one book that isn’t as good as all the rest. Well that is not the case with Jana Aston. Everything she writes is pure gold. She may just be my favorite author. Her sense of humor is one of a kind and she has a way of blending comedy and erotica in a way that I didn’t know was even possible. From the first chapter you’re hooked. You love and can relate to the characters and you get sucked into their crazy adventures of falling in love. There’s never a ton of angst, which I love!!! My only problem with this book was that it ended. PLEASE don’t make me wait a year for another book from you Jana. I need it now. Your narrators are PERFECTION! Please don’t ever use anyone but Jason Clarke ❤️❤️❤️ top notch performances on a top notch book. This one is worth all the credits.

Let me start by saying that books 1-3 are in my all time top 10 favorite books ever. So naturally when book 4 came out I was THRILLED. I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t care for this one, but it was a DNF for me. I made it to the last 2 hours then threw in the towel. It just didn’t hold my interest. I didn’t care for the H at all, and I could’ve dealt with that if the storyline was interesting, but it just wasn’t. I’m super disappointed, I had HIGH expectations for this one and it did not meet them. Muffy Newton is a good narrator, however she needs to stop sounding so whiny. When she’s not exaggerating she’s fine, but not every word and sentence needs to be drawn out into a whine. Just talk normal!!!!
