In keeping with his trademark style, Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code and Inferno, interweaves codes, science, religion, history, art, and architecture in this new novel. Origin thrusts Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon into the dangerous intersection of humankind's two most enduring questions - and the earthshaking discovery that will answer them.

A good book by Dan Brown but not his best. I definitely would put this at the bottom of the list when comparing it to the other Robert Langdon stories... The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, and Inferno.

Consistently repeated the backstory and unnecessarily vulgar in spots. It tried and failed to match the sword of truth series.

Stealth. Gorgon. Regenerator. Cerberus. Zzzap. The Mighty Dragon. They were heroes. Vigilantes. Crusaders for justice, using their superhuman abilites to make Los Angeles a better place. The population was decimated, heroes fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland like so many others.
