I've listened to multiple books narrated by this narrator, Kim Johnson, and she is TERRIBLE! She reads like she is nervous and not sure about what she is reading. All books that she narrates on are all the same, terrible. Her performance makes you want to return the book. Her long pauses between words is so annoying.

I enjoyed the story but didn't understand why the characters had country southern accents. Also, I don't think that the narrator was the fit for this story as well as in book 1. The author should've chosen someone more compatible. Overall, great book!

Every little girl dreams of a happy ending to her story - a home, children, and a man who loves her enough to share his life and last name. When Billy's longtime boyfriend, Marcus, finally pops the question, it's one of the happiest moments of her life. Billy calls on her childhood friends, Reese and Yoshi, to stand with her on her special day. Several years have passed since they'd last come together, and unresolved issues have driven a wedge between the women.

I loved the story but was constantly distracted by the narrator. She has no personality and cannot read AT ALL! She reads like she trying to figure out how to pronounce the words. Every book she narrates has the same effect, great story but terrible narrator. She needs training or something. Please stop using her. It makes you second guess whether or not to buy the book when you see her name on it.
