OK this is the first Event Group book that I was left with my mouth hanging open wide. Author David Golemon has taken us to some pretty crazy places in his books, but this was a true shocker. I mean this in a very positive way too! I love this event. Each event is filled with surprises and new worlds. Sometimes you find some history of our world coinciding with the Event Group!

Technically I think you are supposed to listen to this book first, but I listened to the books so out of order. It was actually nice to listen to this one as it answered some of the questions I had from the other books in the series. So read at your own discretion. I LOVE this series. I now have to wait for the next book in the series to come out. If you love a story that weaves tales, and takes you to amazing worlds, you are going to love the Event Group!! Happy Reading!!

The story line of this book was not one I would normally be interested in. However, I had to listen to this book to stay true to the series. As usual, the author spun his tale in a way that totally has you on the edge of your seat. This book had elements that I thought I knew about, but actually had no clue about (thank you TV for painting that wrong). This is my last event book in the series that I can read. I have no more until the next one comes out. I am going to be WAITING for that!

OK I am so loving this series I am SO sad that I am almost done with it. I have one book left in the series BUT I stalked the author's page and there is a NEW ONE coming out THIS YEAR! I am so excited. Discovering this series is like finding a TV series that you watch religiously every. single. week!!! I don't have one of those. I am not much of a tv fan. I HATE COMMERCIALS! Books do not have commercials. TV series only give you one world. Books give you as many worlds as you can possible read about. I would LOVE to personally thank author David L Golemon for this amazing series. I have a funny feeling I will be listening to these books more than once. They really truly are THAT GOOD!

Master Chief had a quote in this book that made me actually laugh out loud belly laugh. It had something to to with a face. That is all I am going to say because I do not post spoilers. This books was great!!

This book has to be one of my favorite books yet! I love how the EVENT group is evolving. They are challenged with not only their loyalty, but also their morality. I love this series. I truly do. I never know from one book to the next what is going to happen, or where the EVENT group is going to end up. I love not only the military, government, and Country aspects of the Group, but also the little bits of history thrown in. That just makes these books AMAZING! I am sure that someone is using this book for a conspiracy theory as I type this! (haha but maybe)!! I am going to be SO SAD when I have finished this series. I am only a few books from doing that. I am SO hoping Author Davie Goleman has more in the works!

This was another book out of my regular genre that absolutely fell in love with. In The Life We Bury, lives intersect in the most peculiar way. That intersection creates an amazing story that just goes to show that there is still good in the world. Some people walk around daily with something on their conscience that they hold on to very deeply. It is books like this that gives the reader hope that they, too can release their burdens and have the life they deserve.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Ashford, Vermont, might look like your typical sleepy New England college town, but to the shadowy residents who live among the remains of its abandoned mills and factories, it's known as "Burntown". Eva Sandeski, known as "Necco" on the street, has been a part of this underworld for years, ever since the night her father, Miles, drowned in a flood that left her and her mother, Lily, homeless.

I am seriously in love with author Jennifer McMahon's writing. She is just a sheer genius when it comes to writing stories that mesmerize you from the very beginning. She is able to get a few different stories that all come into a full circle. She does not write a lot of magic, paranormal, or even supernatural but there are always an aspect of the one in her books. This is where I get sucked into the world she has built with every book I read of hers.
