As a Seminus demon, Raze's life literally depends on having sex with females. The problem is that he doesn't desire females, and it's physically impossible for him to be with males. Thankfully, he and his best friend, Fayle, have an arrangement that keeps him alive...if lonely. He finds some solace in his work as a medic at Thirst, a vampire club known for its rough clientele. But his carefully structured world turns upside down when he meets a mysterious male who makes him want what he can never have.

I liked the story overall, but m/m isn't really something I read often. Not my thing, but a sweet story. I really loved the narrator's ability to vastly differentiate voices. The only complaint I have was how he pronounced SEM-i-nus like SEE-mun-us...and Eidolon (I-duh-lawn) like Eye-DOLE-on. All other narrators pronounced both one way, and this one another. It was distracting. I wish the audio productions of all books would agree on how to pronounce words and names regularly used across a series.

Strider is one of my favorite Lords, I think. Something so....caveman and primal about him. But the narrator made be crazy with his audible swallowing and mouth noises while he read. So distracting!

Among my top favorites of the series. My heart cheered for Malcolm and Carrow, while breaking for them at the same time.

The narrator of these books is incredible. Perfect accents that he keeps consistent from book to book. He gives then even more personality.

The story is great. Very X-rated at times, but the stories are honestly well written and interesting and captivating. It's not a series for the prudish, but it's truly not smut either. Love it!

This is my favorite of this series so far, I think. All of the books feel slightly repetitive so far, with similar themes. But they are still enjoyable, and the narrator's awesome accents bring the story to life. And, for the love of Jamie Fraser,
I'm a sucker for a Highland Scot.

And Daniel Sharman...man... he, Davina Porter and Robert Petkoff should narrate ALL BOOKS. And Ed Westwick, too. But I could seriously listen to Daniel all day.. he is amazing.

Loved the book. Though not my favorite Cassandra Clare, I love everything she writes.

Molly Quinn narrates with feeling and inflection, but the voice of every character is the same. That's unfortunate when you're listening and trying to figure out who is speaking. She's not my favorite, but not awful.
