Average Spy Novel

3 out of 5 stars

While the narrator did a solid job, the story was simplistic. While you can distinquish the different voices this narrator needs to work on female voices.

In general not a bad book but not to exciting for an action spy novel.

Puzo does a wonderful job describing the culture, the time, and the thoughts that governed the Church and Europe in those times. A great read if you are interested in this period of history [15th century]. Defintely a thin line between the mafia and the Pope.

This is the book which made me a fan of James Patterson. This title was fast paced and full of surprises. Once I started listening I never stopped until I finished...on the same day.

Syrup is a hip and all-around entertaining novel. While this book was fast paced it was un predictable and well written. This story will provide you a small taste of the corporate world and the line "and I'm homeless again" will have you laughing throughout the book.
