The Night I Fell in Love audiobook cover art

This was a good listen. Loved the story loved the narrator. The editor needs to be fired. I had to listen to the narrator repeat himself and struggle for the right tone and pronunciation of words. The story is so good you want to hear what's happening next you get past the bad editing real quick.

I've tried to avoid writing a review that mentions race, but Audible please stop white-washing Black books with white narrators it's like nails on a chalkboard to my ears.

This book was one of the best listens I had in a while. The story was believable and the narration was awesome! Jakobi Diem and Adenrele Ojo know how to keep a listener intrigued. I listened to this in a day I didn't want the story to end. I know I will be listening to this story over and over again. On to book two in the series.

I loved how the author took her time and told each of the main characters back stories. I loved that this book was in no way predictable at all. Can't wait to get into the sequel which I'm starting in five minutes. I pray it does not disappoint. The narrator's were awesome I just hope the next book the microphones are turned downed. We don't need to hear every swallow and every breath, I even heard a car horn and coughing in the background.

Couldn't get past the first five minutes of this one. The narrator has no emotion and no soul either. It sounds almost like a computer generated voice. I guess ill have to find the physical book to find out what happens in this story.

I loved this story. I had all the elements you look for in a romance novel. Even though I love curling up with a huge book that keeps me occupied for a while, I can't ways do that. This was a quick sweet shot of romance that the narrator(Cary Hite) made really worth the listen.

This book is by far my favorite out of the Cavanaugh Island series. I do still have the next book to go. I pray it is as good as this one. I truly enjoy reading any and everything Rochelle Alers puts on paper. I found the characters and their backstories well rounded. As with all the books in a series that Mrs. Alers writes I love how she updates us on characters from previous books. I found this story truly believable you know something that could happen to anyone I know. I really would love to see Morgan and Nate featured again in another story. Honestly I could see this entire series as a drama series on tv.
