Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can't move. She can't speak. She can't open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn't remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from 20 years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller audiobook asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth?

Just finished the book. I dont know if anyone can relate but have you ever listened to a story and you couldn't stop because you just wanted to know what happens, YET, as it over twists, I felt some irritation of disappointment.
The Narration was so good, I feel only she kept me listening.
i am unfortunately going to return this one.
By the reviews I'm very surprised that I did Not enjoy this book.
Good thing there are thousands of book choices, this one just wasn't my cup of tea.

I absolutely could not stop Listening. How brilliant of a writer can you be to have a day by day, family Life be so interesting ? Th ih s Story is one of them. I enjoyed every minute of the details of each character and their heart.
It seemed to rise up emotions within myself of the many choices made at how I personally had Responded to Life. How years later we can look back and see our own fears and shadows lurking , as one who just wants to Love but gets caught within the judgements of self and po projects it onto the very people they love the most.
We have all done this is one way or another to Ourselves. An Entertaining story that assists you in reflecting within yourself are the best kinds of books. This was a fascinating Story listen.
Thank You to the writer for bringing me into the book !

i Loved this book. narration was perfect. It was so heart felt to the depths of realizing our deepest truths can become shadowed by the walls we make, until those walls break down.. tr hen and only then can we see the truth. There is no instant overnight fix, healing takes time and can Heal YOU IF you choose to see clearly.
This story was so hard to put down. i found myself wanting to find out more everytime i stopped it.
That is how I know I am listening to a Really Great Story.
An Absolute Fabulous Story with Characters you will feel like you have always known and will stick with you long after your done :)
Enjoy.
