I have followed Tony on Facebook & YouTube for years. He is honest, sincere, spiritual and worth every penny. He breaks down how we interpret love from the people who taught us to how it births our future relationships and why they might fail. He teaches self love as this is the key to self control and eliminates the insecurities that form from a lack of it. This is a wonderful read! I reccomend it for myself so, I would definitely recommend it for anyone else.

As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man. When a shuttle crashes into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating and waiting for suitable prey.

I never thought that I could hear what I have only seen in the past. However, the story, narration and sound effects do not disappoint in any way. How they managed to find someone whose voice eerily mimics Sigourney Weaver's exactly is beyond me. I enjoyed every second of it! From plot to performance...5 stars all around from me.

I absolutely enjoyed every second of this humanized, candid journey detailing an extraordinary life. Michelle and I come from the same place in inner city Chicago. The streets, the schools, the culture--I grew up in the center of her experience with the same type of parents. She sincerely took me back there--even though there are almost 20 years between our births (I being the latter). The struggle of not knowing whether or not you are good enough and it subsequently producing a over-achiever are things I can relate to. The struggles of coming up and considered "less-than" a racial-barrier counterpart are struggles we can all relate to. The sheer will, drive and determination of remaining consistent to your own strengths, knowing what you want and putting forth everything to get it, putting in effort of the greatest magnitude to keep another human being happy along with yourself, the togetherness of her sense of family and also her spirited ability to keep her self-identity in tact, her relentlessness when it came to striving to be the best Michelle she can be--Makes me truly aware of her and am humbled by her sharing her "around the way girl" life with the vast sea of onlookers that have seen her as an other-worldly idol. Her devotion to herself, her husband and her children as well as her extended family and all the Americans that she holds in high regard--It is not an act. When we saw her with Barack and felt their love--their was a reason. It is all so very real. Written by her and narrated by her....I give her an enthusiastic 5-stars for letting us in, letting us feel and letting us ALL know that we are enough. APPLAUSE!!!!!!!!!!

Why isn't your love life where you want it to be? Are you going to point fingers at the quality of today's men, blame the city that you live in, or come up with the defense that you don't have the energy to date? You pretend to be working on yourself, but you secretly hope and wish that Prince Charming will fall in your lap. You make the excuse that it's not you, it's the men, but there is something inside of you that knows the common denominator in all of your failed relationships was you!

The outset was awesome! However, in terms of G.L.'s explanation of what takes a woman from a "placeholder" to a "game changer" His answer was purely metaphysical. He does not believe in God or religion, which is his choice....However, the expressly implied answer to becoming the Spartan "game changer" in a nutshell was to gain self-confidence (which I totally agree with) and to totally shed your former belief system (through meditation)-becoming one with yourself in order to get the man that is meant for you. I guess otherwise you can never be happy and self-confident enough to attract the right man....I am only giving facts here, not my personal opinion.

Ancient Egypt. Land of the Pharaohs. A kingdom built on gold. A legend shattered by greed. Now the Valley of Kings lies ravaged by war, drained of its lifeblood, as weak men inherit the cherished crown. On the eve of the festival of Osiris, the loyal subjects of the Pharaoh gather in Thebes to pay tribute to their leader.

I have never experienced an Audible performance so engaging! The descriptions of ancient Egyptian life were so accurately staggering. I played back several sections. This book is hands down with zero equivocations THE BEST book I have come across in the fictional history genre. The plot was amazing and could never be guessed. I cannot gush enough about the narrator! This story is what it is because of the stellar award-worthy narration of Mr. Dick Hill. His voice for each character is amazing! He is so authentic in his delivery, you will believe you are dead in the epicenter of "Tita's" (the main character) oculus! From here on out whenever he speaks (in any book), I will listen.

When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

Overall, it was very well put together and definitely kept my attention. If I had not already seen both movies It definitely would have gotten a five-star rating. I find G.L. Lambert to be hands down the most honest, raw, no nonsense relationship expert that I have ever been blessed to come across. He may come off as a tad bit crass, but it is more than worth it. I will be implementing his advice going forward. This book, along with his "Men Don't Love Women Like You" are staples and fall right underneath the bible in stature for me. Yes. I am so serious. If you are one of those women that was raised to be and are a "good women" and did not have a male role model in your life that truly helped you understand the male psyche (especially from a relationship standpoint)....This one is for you.
