Startlingly accurate and gritty portrayal of youth gangs in Weimar Germany. Pity that the legacy of Ernst Haffner is only this book. Nazi censorship and. more than likely, execution saw to that.

This book is a testimony to the concept of repeating history lest we refuse to learn from it. Eerie parallels between Hitler and Trump.

Must admit that had I read closer that this was a "Christian" book, I never would have purchased it. However, not preashy or in your face and the story is great. Very well done.

Good, but a bit predictable. Reading was very good and will look for the sequal.
