A tense, gripping psychological thriller, with Hitchcockian overtones, perfect for fans of Gillian Flynn, Sophie Hannah and Rosamund Lupton. Lara Finch is living a lie. Everyone thinks she has a happy life in Cornwall, married to the devoted Sam, but in fact she is desperately bored. When she is offered a new job that involves commuting to London by sleeper train, she meets Guy and starts an illicit affair. But then Lara vanishes from the night train without a trace.

I purchased this book from Audibles Romance Package and I honestly don't understand why it was considered romance. I enjoy many types of genres but I could not get into this book. The way the story line is; I had a difficult time following. I kept waiting for something to happen and it would just fall flat. The ending was a bit, different, for my own personal preference.

I really believe this is a well written book and the narration is phenomenal, but personally, I didn't enjoy it as much as some others I've listened to.

This story is about a woman, Faith, who's being stalked by the same man who attempted to murder her years prior. She inherits her family's home where numerous bodies are found. The race is on to find the murderer, the stalker, the victims, and the brother. You will be guessing until the (almost) end. The ending is good, I guess. I wanted to know more about Decan (spelling may be off) and his family. I haven't looked yet, but I'm hoping there story will carry on.

I felt as though it was slow to begin but once I fell into the theme and style of the story I couldn't stop listening. I listen to my audio books at 1.7 speed so the names were hard to follow and there were a couple of times I was confused as to who was who. But that's on me. I enjoyed the authors portrayal of details during the Holocost. It saddens me but I respect the honesty of it.

I've had many moments in my lifetime, moments that changed me, challenged me. Moments that scared me and engulfed me. However, the biggest ones - the most heartbreaking and breathtaking ones - all included him. I was 10 years old when I lost my voice. A piece of me was stolen away, and the only person who could truly hear my silence was Brooks Griffin. He was the light during my dark days, the promise of tomorrow, until tragedy found him. Tragedy that eventually drowned him in a sea of memories.

The last time I saw my best friend's younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check. Now 24, he's broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he's pure temptation.

Still good enough to listen to. The narration could've been better, I think. But then again, they could've been worse too. story line is your everyday love story. Cannon is the lead who suddenly needs a place to stay so he's offered a room at his sister's best friends home, who just so happens to be his long time crush from when they were kids. There is some pretty comical scenes that made it a fun listen. Some even hotter scenes. Now if we could realistically find a "Cannon" for my very own, I would totally give it 5 stars.

For several months, a ruinous sexual harassment suit has been building against the San Francisco Catholic Archdiocese, and when the plaintiff's lawyer is found dead, an almost audible sigh of relief is heard.

I really enjoyed the main character. He was really chill and laid back. The narration style was kinda hard to follow at first. It's written in 1st person but there isn't anything separating his internal thoughts to his next comment except for a slight pitch change. It makes you really have to pay close attention until you get used to it. Well, at least for me anyways. The amount of details and information was both interesting and entertaining. All in all, I liked it.
