This was a quick guide for people who want to open their own business. I vaguely explains what you need to do and who you need to avoid to get your business off the ground.

Be realistic about your expenses, hours you will productively work, planning for known variables and interferences, procrastination and ways to stay focused, time management, managing employees, and dealing with interruptions by employees, coworkers, family, or distractions.

Narrators voice is pleasant, well written, but not very informative. It was alright.

Sad, short story...

I wrote a review about this short story, and nothing I wrote was posted or saved... -.-

Here's the basics:

-Sad, cyberpunk semi-futuristic themed short story about little girl/young woman trying to make money selling artificial intelligence family experience simulation.

-Great narrator, British accent. Author made this short story descriptive, well written.

-I sped this up to 1.5x, nothing against the author or narrator, I speed up most narration or I'll fall asleep.

-If this audiobook were part of a collection of short stories, or were on sale, I'd get it, but for $3.95 or a credit, definitely not.

OMG ROLLAND!!!! O.O

This audiobook is amazingly, disgustingly, brutally, beautifully, descriptively, insanely brilliant!

I couldn’t stop listening! It starts out slow. The characters come from different backgrounds and almost all of them have redeeming, relatable qualities.

Unwinding was a compromise to stop the 2nd civil war in the U.S. between pro-life and pro-choice combatants. If you feel strongly about either side, you might not like this audiobook, or you might think it’s a genius compromise, if that’s the case, please don’t listen to this, don’t want you getting any ideas!

The audiobook was well written and well narrated. I’m listening to book 4 while writing this review. I love it!

Google is not a legitimate reference... -.-

I hoped this audiobook would talk about CBD oil benefits backed by a few unbiased scientific articles, but I quickly discovered that it plays out like a bad infomercial on TV at 4am. I sped up the narration to 1.50x, and here’s why I didn’t like this audiobook:

1. It begins with testimonials that use weird, unnatural slang and phrases, such as: “take a crunch to basically try it”, “depression is like, a common health condition”, “it has turned out to be real cool for me.”

2. The last 30 minutes, I noticed the narrator pronouncing a few words in an unusual way. Patent was pronounced “pay-tent” and Crohn’s was pronounced “Krawns.”

3. Side effects caused by CBD consumption were rarely mentioned. Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) is a side effect of CBD consumption that was NOT mentioned. I learned about this when I took my roommate to the hospital in 2017 for continuous vomiting caused by taking “too much” CBD oil. She went from 1 drop of 100mg CBD oil per day, to 1 drop twice per day.

4. Chapter 9 tells you how to “make passive income selling CBD oil online with My Daily Choice Hemp Works.” Chapter 10 tells you a little about the author and his family.

I expected to be painfully bored by scientific journals, but I felt more annoyed by the narrators relaxed tone combined with the authors opinion that anyone with any medical disease would benefit from CBD, while providing no scientific references, and leaving out most negative effects.

“Whatever the root cause is, CBD oil will help you manage that. Whether it’s hormonal imbalances, appetite, psychological addictions, whatever it is, CBD oil helps you bring your body to homeostasis.”
(Ternder, 2018, “CBD Oil,” Chapter 7, 03:11)

This audiobook left me so sad. It’s a great short story to help fill in the gaps in Lev’s story. The ending is sad tho. Narrator rocks, author does a great job messing with my head, just like the 1st audiobook. Definitely worth listening to.

Better than expected!

The narrator was great, the story had me hooked. Elizabeths character annoyed me, but I liked the ending. I’m not a big Romance fan, but this audiobook had me cheering for Summer.

Highly recommend although it’s old

I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to get a book published. This audiobook was made a few years ago, so I’m not sure if the websites the author recommended are still working, but I still like the marketing plan created. The narrator was good too, I stayed awake and focused until the end, but it could have been the audiobook content that kept me hooked.

The narrator sounded like two different people at times, which confused me because only one narrator is listed, but it could totally just be me. Other than that, the narrator(s), were good. Not annoyingly over enthusiastic or sleepily boring with the tone of voice and inflections, which made for an easy listen, even at 1.5x the speed.

The 1st half of this audiobook held my attention, but the 2nd half felt like filler materials. I’m guessing it’s because I’ve heard/learned a lot of what was covered in the 2nd half through life experiences as I got older. I still think this is a great audiobook, and I’ll definitely be listening to it again!

Great for beginners!

Some of the topics mentioned in this audiobook: Emotional response, neuroscience, psychographics and demographics, soft skills vs hard skills, prospecting and planning, the give goal, reality testing, self talk, likability, and Neurolinguistic Programming by mirroring.

I liked the narrator, smooth voice but not boring, even when I sped up the narration to 1.75x. The author did an amazing job creating this book so each discussion flows seamlessly from one topic, with examples, to the next. Very informative and helpful audiobook for beginners. I’ll definitely be listening to this again.
