Not into M/M action the dynamic just felt forced .... not a crude but relationship between the three just didn’t click. Always felt like they were cheating on each other. The bisexual thing was just there and really served no purpose .... another author bowing to the pressures of liberal left society views.

She didn't expect to find her mate so soon, but Nick, second to the Pacific pack's Alpha, is undeniably hers. The scent of him, the irrefutable way their bodies call to each other - it's the beginning of a new life for them both. I hoped for a little more conflict and kick butt scences... I thought the characters were a little weak for wolves. Not much about shifters themselves no scences where their wolf side took the lead. I typically like a little more paranormal.

The story has a pretty good premise I’m not sure if is the narration or the author. It just felt a little weak. I could not get engaged.

The narration just made the lead female character sound weak and whiny. I mean she wasn’t supposed to be a fighter but she was also a grown ass woman. I couldn’t take the angst and woe is me emotion in the mist of what is supposed to be a plot of genocide against the human race.

The whole time I’m thinking shut up, wipe your tears and grow up.

Sergeant Duncan O'Conner has seen it all before. Beautiful erotic dancer murdered at home, no suspect, no motive. But there's one clue: She's missing her heart. It's enough to make the hard-bitten Kansas City cop enlist the help of a necro - one of the dead-channeling freaks who live in the domed city of nearby Valhalla. It's a long shot, but desperate crimes call for desperate measures. Unlike the other "high-bloods" in Valhalla, Callie Brown considers her abilities a gift, not a curse. But when she reads the dancer's final thoughts, she senses a powerful presence blocking her vision. This is no ordinary homicide. This is the work of a legendary necromancer who controls souls.

So I’ve always been fascinated by authors who write about conflict within a story specific to bigotry or racism, Yet every one of the characters has an oval pace and pale skin. I believe with all them literally describe every single character is having pale skin .... her pale skin ....his pills . That is literally the descriptive of all the characters.... wait I missed one there is also a bronze a bronzed skinned person.

Spare me the redundancy really.... Am entire world of normal and special races who all look alike. I am done

The book was different and characters were interesting. I enjoyed the book it was a nice storyline and I love fantasy and medieval settings.

The story was just flat without good development. Lara’s charater began strong but she digressed with no thought to reality. She makes decisions as though she is an unlearned child. This is a woman 25 yrs old .... an old maid in those times. She can’t figure out what is happening and why. All the evidence and she is like... NO It couldn’t be ...REALLY?

Keir was a wonderful character with the patiences of Job but come on.... he NEVER ACTUALLY SPOKE with his Warprize to ask a simple “hey how do you feel”...here’s how I feel or even here is how it is in my culture.

Good but I like my heroines stronger and a little more growth in my charaters. A little more craftiness was have been appreciated. The book was a GOOD listen but not drawn into the series or main charaters

I think the concept is good but the best part of this story was the prologue

Tried speeding up the narration and that worked ok but in the end the story fizzled.

Why are so many authors throwing in alternative lifestyles randomly in their books?

The statment was made by the main character “love is love” REALLY you have people dying around you ... missing political leaders, the “unnaturals” killing, the extinction of Gargoyle females, mates to find and a Post apocalyptic city ....

That’s quite a bit in a story but your focuse is on a homosexual male coming out of the closet

Whatever .... I am done with this book
