If feels like it took forever to get to this book it was so slow and boring. Supposed to be paranormal book about shifters but it was just so long winded. I didn’t feel invested at all and the characters. I was just thinking the whole time get on with it already. The book just needed some kind of action whether conflict or sexual in nature it just needed something.

I’m trying to understand why this book is getting so many good reviews . I mean it doesn’t even need to be a shifter story what’s the point. I’m floored at how dumb this suppose it alpha of the pack is and I’m floored how weak the members of the pack are.

I think this author wanted us to feel like Ally with some strong character because she ensured being bully? It’s absolutely asinine to be a grown ass woman knowing that bullying is still continuing and allowing it to happen because you don’t want to hurt the alpha’s feelings. I think perhaps the most ridiculous and worse part of this book is that Marcus wouldn’t have even recognized the bigotry and prejudice of his group if he had not been mated to a half breed. That is the only reason he woke up because it affected him.

Maybe this is just a book for younger and younger audience but there was no depth of character couldn’t stand either the h/H.

There was just no story, no real conflict or challenges that made sense. The book was about sex.. I believe the author wanted a threesone relationship but honestly the woman felt like and afterthought. The book focused on the MM relationship. There were actually more MM sex sence than any other.

I think we were suppose to feel empathy for the characters because they where being judged for their alternative lifestyle but it was only the women who got the raw deal. The men went through nothing except being sexually deprived after a week without sex.

Save me from this new era of mainstream romance that is geared towards the smex and making sex define a couples life rather than just a part of enhancing a relationship.

Can we go back the simple basics of a story with overcomig conflict and good character development .

The story has a pretty good premise I’m not sure if is the narration or the author. It just felt a little weak. I could not get engaged.

The narration just made the lead female character sound weak and whiny. I mean she wasn’t supposed to be a fighter but she was also a grown ass woman. I couldn’t take the angst and woe is me emotion in the mist of what is supposed to be a plot of genocide against the human race.

The whole time I’m thinking shut up, wipe your tears and grow up.
