This funny, sad, super-honest, all-true story of Chelsea Handler’s year of self-discovery features a nerdily brilliant psychiatrist, a shaman, four Chow Chows, some well-placed security cameras, various family members (living and departed), friends, assistants, and a lot of edibles.

This was not what I expected. I buy chelsea’s Books cause they are fun. This one was just downright depressing. Kept waiting for the good parts and they never appeared. No ones life is a picnic but could use a lot less of Chelsea and her therapist. Sorry

The lead in this story is obnoxious and not in a cute way. She's not bright or funny just continually irritating. Not my glass of ice tea.

Clare Cosi used to manage the historic Village Blend coffeehouse…until she opted for quieter pastures and a more suburban life. But after ten years and a little friendly cajoling from the owner (a fresh pot of Jamaican Blue Mountain was all it took), she's back to the grind. With a sprawling rent-free apartment directly above the Village Blend, her cat Java by her side, and plenty of coffeehouse redecorating ideas, Clare is thrilled to return to work. Until she discovers the assistant manager unconscious in the back of the store, coffee grounds strewn everywhere.

Would you ever listen to anything by Cleo Coyle again?

Probably not

Any additional comments?

I like light mysteries with female leads. I thought I had discovered a new series. Unfortunately the writing is poor. I was ready to turn it off, but hoped it would improve. Is she trying to be a romance writer? If I heard one more reference to the leads ex's chiseled body or details or one of the superior ways to make a cup of coffee, please...

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I am not a YA, far from it, but this is one of the most powerful books I've listened to in a long time. Be careful, if you listen while you drive, this book had me crying on my way to and from work for days. Good job John Green!!

What disappointed you about A Discovery of Witches?

It was a cheesy romance novel..I did not expect that

Did Jennifer Ikeda do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Okay

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Discovery of Witches?

Cut the romance, leave the action

Any additional comments?

There was no ending, the book just stopped
