On a cold January morning in 1986, NASA launched the Space Shuttle Challenger, despite warnings against doing so by many individuals including Allan McDonald. The fiery destruction of Challenger on live television moments after launch remains an indelible image in the nation's collective memory. In Truth, Lies, and O-Rings, McDonald, a skilled engineer and executive, relives the tragedy from where he stood at Launch Control Center.

If you are a NASA and space junkie this is a good book for you. There is a lot of detailed information on what went wrong and why. The author does repeat himself several times but I did not find it distracting but helped reiterate the information.
There is a lot of information on the SRBs but the author does a great job of keeping it so the average person can understand what he is talking about. The author explains in detail about the problems they were having with the rings before the Challenger exploded, the investigation of the accident, and then the rebuild process to get the Shuttle back in space.

I really enjoyed the book and found myself sitting in the car after arriving home from work so I could finish listening to the chapter. Five stars from me for both the author and the reader.

One of his biographers called him "a complex man: a born leader, a brilliant soldier, a devoted husband, a proud father; intelligent, instinctive, brave, compassionate, vain, egotistical, and arrogant." As that description suggests, every account of Erwin Rommel's life must address what appears to be its inherent contradictions.

This is a good recap of the famous German generals life. If you are a big fan of WWII history you will probably not learn anything new from this book but I still found it an enjoyable two hours of listening.

This book is more geared to a person just starting to learn about the Second World War and is a good brief history of the Desert Fox.

The reader did a good job and kept me interested even though I have proficient knowledge of Rommel.

These 24 lectures are a vibrant introduction to the primary characters and most important stories of classical Greek and Roman mythology. Among those you'll investigate are the accounts of the creation of the world in Hesiod's Theogony and Ovid's Metamorphoses; the gods Zeus, Apollo, Demeter, Persephone, Hermes, Dionysos, and Aphrodite; the Greek heroes, Theseus and Heracles (Hercules in the Roman version); and the most famous of all classical myths, the Trojan War.

As women everywhere will attest, when it comes to understanding female sexuality, most guys know more about what's under the hood of a car than under the hood of a clitoris. And while it seems that men have struggled valiantly since the dawn of time to find ways to reliably elicit the female orgasm, rare is the guy who has the modesty to ask: "What do I do?" Ironically, the answer has always been right there on the tip of his tongue.

This is a great book for guys at all levels. The only thing I wish the author would have emphasized more is that no two women are alike and no two women react the same way. Overall this is a must read if you really want to make your girl happy in bed.
