I received this book a while ago and meant to review sooner but was very ill and am just now recovering.....

This book is a deep journey of life and love. It chronicles the ups and downs of the life of Evelyn who lives at Tall Chimneys for her whole life. It's not a "total feel good" story but rather a true to life tale of a life well lived. It makes you feel the emotions, challenges, and sorrows she felt and leaves you with the feeling that you knew Evelyn and Tall Chimneys. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys deep historical stories with heart.

My thanks to the author for providing me a review copy of this book at my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

The story is a different western style romance that drew me in and connected me to the characters immediately. This book is a great "feel good" choice to listen to on a rainy, lazy day. Leonor A. Woolworth, as always, adds dimension to the stories she reads. Keep this book in mind if you enjoy western romances with a good story 😉

The Fireflies series is a wonderful love journey that does not disappoint. Each book can stand alone but I recommend starting with the first book so you don't miss some poignant scenes and foundational character development.

This third book features Brenna and Dante. Their love hate relationship and bantering actually begins in book one but blossoms in this book. It is a well written story that is filled with romance, wonderful scenes and delightful characters. There is some swearing (but not a lot) and has non detailed sexual encounters. A winner for adult readers!

Pam Dougherty's narration is a consistently wonderful. She gives each voice a unique quality which adds dimension to the story. A favorite narrator for sure! 🌸

This is a relatively short book for Kathryn Le Veque standards so I wasn't surprised that, by the end of the book, I truly wished it was longer. I know this Pirate series is written in "tag team" with Eliza Knight but, since the other audio books aren't available at the time I wrote this review, it only leaves me wanting more.

This book has charming Pirates, has a fun storyline, and is very entertaining in a sweet yet predictable way. This is a good series for Pirate enthusiasts ⚓. The narration was wonderful. Brian J Gill has such a perfect voice for Le Veque's books and he never disappoints me.😊 I am anticipating the other audio books in this series. 💕

Romance is a luxury Rebecca can't afford. Thanks to his past, romance isn't in Sean Kinkaid's future, so when Rebecca proposes friends with benefits, Sean agrees. It's the perfect scenario until love sneaks in - and Sean's secrets tear them apart.

I totally enjoyed book 1 in this series so when this book became available I I knew I had to check it out.

Although this is book 2 in the series it is definitely a stand alone book. Each book focuses on different family members so, even though the characters from the previous book are included, you don't lose any story or character development.

This book focuses on Rebecca and Sean. I don't want to give the story away but it's basically a story of two lonely hearts learn their relationship unexpectedly turns to love. It's a charming story that is more adult oriented because it does have some swearing and sexual encounters but they are not detailed. I recommend this series to those who enjoy well written stories with a bit of heat.

Loved the narration of Pam Dougherty. She has the kind of voice that lets you feel transported into the story. A pleasure to listen to! 💟
