What a lovely, lovely story. I now think Cary Elwes is a spectacular human being. Through his view we get to remember our love for the Princess Bride all over again!

I was surprised CE's telling of his friendship with Andre the Giant caused me to weep with the beauty of it. Truly CE brings to life the beauty of all the cast and crew. I treasure the goodness in this book. Thank you!

A set of three talks given by Dr. Hawkins. Dr. Hawkins explains the difference between sex and making love. He presents sex as an expression of the energy of aliveness and the joy of being. He discusses sex and spiritual conflict, along with guilt, religion, programming, and social belief systems. He describes low-energy and high-energy sex, how to overcome impotence and lack of response, and how to transcend desire so that one is not at the effect of it.

Wow! I've worked my way back to the oldest recordings and find them, surprisingly, exceptional. David Hawkins is clear, articulate and easy to understand. This language is easy to follow from a worldly, intellectual perspective.

He also provides a fantastic definition of what spiritual work really is.

Bravo!

Affectionately called "doc" by those who loved him and knew him best, Sir David Ramon Hawkins, MD, PhD, died peacefully at home in Sedona, Arizona, on September 19, 2012, at the age of 85. Yet his profound message of spiritual truth, enlightenment, and growth lives on in this incredible new audio collection, The Ultimate David Hawkins Library.

I really enjoyed listening to this work. I have already listened to all 5 of these programs at least once. I listen to and read the work of David Hawkins daily. Having listened to this abridged combination I found myself picking up on teachings I had not "heard" so closely before.

These programs and the earlier speeches of DH are sometimes easier to learn from an intellectual approach because he, to me, is on a different teaching level throughout his life. The later teachings seem more impacted by his mysticism, this collection has that of course but not as prominent. With his later teachings I do understand on another level. I appreciate learning it from many levels.

Regardless of the specific work, the teachings of DH continue to reach my Being. My spiritual evolution is supported brilliantly by his teachings. Every day I am grateful to have "been pulled into" such teachings! Much love and many blessings to all who may benefit from such.

Did you know that as human beings relate to one another we all experience different realities? We view the world through our interpretations of reality based on our level of consciousness. Hear Dr. Hawkins explain this incredible phenomenon: Our reality is a subjective mental presumption! We think we are our thoughts and feelings, but do they constitute "me"? Is the "me" real? If not, then what IS real? Dr. Hawkins exclaims: "What a wild and wonderful journey it is to move from one paradigm to another to Enlightenment!" Hear more on this fascinating subject that leads us from the linear to the non-linear realms of our true self.

The program was as excellent as can be. I loved the 2 techniques, in addition to the thymic thump, to rebalance the acupuncture system when you get energetically knocked out.

I also greatly appreciated the advice that if you are happy and content all the time, you aren't making much progress.

We have all gazed up at the sky and wondered about the unknown, the explanations that lie beyond our linear understanding. The vanity of the ego thinks that without divine help it can comprehend the mysteries of the universe. In this fascinating discussion of creation vs. evolution, Dr. David Hawkins reveals how phenomena emerge from potentiality into actuality. That which is forever has no beginning and no end, and death is not a possibility. So where do we evolve from? How can we transcend the spiritual blindness of our paradigm allegiance to actualize our intentions?

It's challenging to put into words the essence of these teachings. What I can share is how much these teachings are helping me align with my correct path experientially. I find myself breathing out impatience and without intellectual decision, offering a kindness to others--and not realizing I had replaced a ego behavior with a spiritual action until hours later. These teachings are something I intend to stick with!

Best wishes.

This unique event allowed Dr. Hawkins to answer some deep and interesting questions in an intimate bookstore setting. Questions came from novices who are unfamiliar with his work as well as from students who have studied his teachings for several years. The topics include challenges to one's comfort zone; A Course in Miracles; changing employment; sensitivity to negativity; parental vs. personal career choice; consciousness level 700; clinical depression.

Any additional comments?

As this was a book signing it brought different questions than at a lecture. Upon first listen I must confess I get little immediate value from the Q&A as a whole but every now an again one will be so useful. From listening to the bulk of his lectures I wish questioners would heed his request--make the question succinct! They rarely do and go on and on about things which are tiresome to listen to. I wish them the very best as well. However because this one was so filled with teary, weepy stories I think it emphasizes the powerful karma yoga or maybe kindness in a spiritual being being present to others without expectation. Hawkins always models some behavior I admire. :)

My favorite Q&A is when Hawkins kindly but firmly explains narcissism to a man and them emphatically states that the discussion is over when the questioner starts trying to refute it. Beautiful. Hawkins clearly and kindly stated that no one else would tell this questioner this truth. Thanks goodness for those like Hawkins who affirm speaking the truth even when and perhaps most especially when it is not popular.

And Susan (in a very hard to hear manner) shares how they met!

Thank you David Hawkins!

Would you consider the audio edition of Homo Spiritus: Devotional Nonduality Series (Dialogue, Questions & Answers - December 2003) to be better than the print version?

I've overcome the challenge there can be to listening to his voice. I've found his work requires my full attention to understand on many levels. This workshop is incredibly difficult to understand because his volume and articulation is all over the place and there seem to be many issues with the sound quality (microphone). Still, it is very good; this one just provides auditory challenges.

Until now, we have been like sailors at sea without a compass to keep us on track in our journey toward truth and enlightenment. So we sometimes make mistakes when deciding which spiritual texts to live by, which political leaders have the most integrity, and which job, house, or even vitamins are for our highest good.

David Hawkins is someone who makes a lot of sense to me. He has a standard foundation which helps me learn more deeply when I listen to detailed sessions like this. His work has greatly helped me she'd the unnecessary and realize many times others behavior is a representation of their consciousness and how to reach them if I need to or smile and move on. I will definitely relisten to this speech as it is also comforting and helps me shake it off and begin again. Thank you!
