I've lost a son too, though I don't know if he made it to Heaven. I'm also a believer. This book if full of hope and 💘 we all need to know about in these scary and turbulent times. I have shared this with my family. I liked your first book, but this one really focused on us, the audience and how the author's experience was meant to share with others. Thank you

I loved this inside look. I felt for Cory early on, knowing that the man in the trenches is not often acknowledged for there work by people talking in offices. But Cory in the end had no ill will for those who did that. Cory, like most of us, remain still loyal to Trump... and the fake media, who rigged the polls r still brainwashing the weak against him! want to send this to my Mom, but I'm afraid of all the F bombs. ☺

There are those moments in life that are provocative in their very existences, that embed in our minds forever, and, sometimes, our very souls. They change us, mold us, maybe even save us. But some are darker, dangerous. If we allow them to, they control us. Seduce us. Quite possibly even destroy us. The moment I walked into Sonoma's Reid Winter Winery and Vineyard and made eye contact with Faith Winter for the first time was one of those moments.

Sandi used to sleep with Jimmy, her man. Now she slept with her AK-47 with a detachable scope. Her Bible lay dusty in the cab of the truck. The nightmares of the past years haunted her. Sandi wasn't the fun, happy, busy girl she used to be. The Opposition took what she most held dear. She could still barely stomach the horrifying images in her head. This time, she was not going to let it go.

This is not your average EMP story. Enemies of America use unique weapons that destroyed one-third of the US population in just a few short hours. Journey with Sandi, an average conservative mom, who clings to God and her guns to protect all those she loves. With little time to prepare, most families have only a week's supply of food. Preppers have a bunker. Sandi doesn't have a bunker. Adventure with this housewife as she struggles against danger, adversity, and lawlessness - to survive a new normal.

This was a very realistic portrayal of how people in a small town might really react when doomsday comes. It's not just a guy with a gun and a dog, but from a housewife's perspective. Can't wait for the rest of the trilogy. I am bored easily, but the first chapter had me hooked.
