This book was a real thriller at times. The narrator I felt read slowly so I listened to the entire book at 1.25 speed which went well and I enjoyed the book a lot better. a lot of characters to remember and switching back and forth but they were easy to keep track of.

To be a woman Doctor in this era must have been very difficult. But Elena has spirit and pushes right on. (good for I say) Some of the townspeople do not like her but most of the women adore her. This is a nice read. Relaxing on the beach would be a good place. This is a good historical romance.

Aren't swimmers taught it is dangerous to swim alone? Yep that is what I thought. But Gail is an Olympian. A gold medal swimmer. She swims the cove to see Todd but she has two others who love her. Each choice she makes the deeper in she gets. How does she fix this or can she? I enjoyed this light clean reading novel. It has a few surprises along the way but it was nice to read something that had no swearing just intellegent people in arguments or just talking to one another. The narrator , Chrissa Boice did a nice job telling this story. I enjoyed listening to her.

Carolyn Kashner really brings the characters to life and even some of the cute parts are read so well. Loved Sarah's Special Gift hated for it to end. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.

The Bear Lake series seems to be getting better and better. I like that the author tells a little about the facts in the book that are true. Interesting history. Will Jenny fall in love with Will or will they just stay friends. She was a tomboy but now she is a lady. Does that matter to a friend? The dialogue is great and the narrator again brings the characters to life. Great job Carolyn Kashner.

Will she ride on the Harley that he loves so much? I could not put this book down. I needed the answers to all the questions. Like what is going to happen with Mom and Dad? A good listen and a good narrator. Gail Hedrick did a nice job bringing the characters to life.
