Thirty days ago, my boss, Mr. Wolf of Wall Street, came to me with an offer I couldn't refuse: Sign my name on the dotted line and pretend to be his fiancée for one month. If I agreed, he would let me out of my employment contract with a "very generous" severance package. The rules were pretty simple: No intimate kissing, no actual sex. Just pretend to love each other for the press, even though I've secretly wanted to knock that sexy smirk off his face since the first day we met.

Even the gods cannot betray the will of the stars. It's been a hundred years since she's warmed my bed, a hundred years spent waiting for her. Now we'll compete again in a game that matters little to me. My prize is far greater than a token to be paid for a favor - I want her. And for the first time in a very long time, I have the chance to keep her. Because now the ground has shifted, tilted in my favor, and with her footing unsteady, she will fall. I will catch her. This time, I won't let go.

One of my ALL TIME FAVE stories by Staci Hart!! I think about Dillion & Kat a lot, I love how edgy and jaded they are. Usually I would be bored with characters who are similar in traits and behavior but not in Shift. They complimented each other so insanely well that I was rooting for them 100% crazy pasts and futures in all.

Also... everything in Olympus as well is starting to unfold heavily and I’m dying to know what happens next. Dita has all of our fates in her hand and I’m feigning for the last book like you wouldn’t believe!

Nothing good comes after the third date. Date three is the crucial point when things get real, which is exactly why I bounce out the door, twiddling my fingers at whatever poor boy I've left behind. Because, if I stick around, one of three things will happen: he'll profess his undying love, he'll get weird and stalky, or I'll go crazy. Like, Sid and Nancy crazy. Like, chase-him-through-the-streets-begging-him-to-love-me crazy. Seriously, it's better for everyone this way.

Find a Penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck...

How can I properly express how amazing Penny & Brodie are?! I'm sure my words will fall short but I will definitely try, these two deserve as much praise as I can muster. Penny is easily every girl who lives in a state of their own emotions, I connected with her so intensely in that matter. Where it's so easy to get lost in an obsession of another person to the point where it's all consuming and it is not completely healthy. This being so, Penny has set up boundaries for herself within her relationships introducing the 3 date rule, nothing beyond that saves her from attachment as well others attaching to her. It's working great, except for FUCKING BRAD, but eventually he gets the hint.

Then mint chocolate chip ice cream happens with a side of NERDY BOY BRODIE. And Penny is all too willing to let him happen, I don't blame you sister!! But neither of them are being honest about how they truly feel and inconsistency mixed with hesitation is a bratty combination. While both are attempting to give themselves distance from one another insecurities are starting small brush fires that will surely light shit on fire in true Staci Hart fashion. But... believe me when I say the burn is oh so worth it!

All I can say from here is that this EPILOGUE is her best out of all of her books to date, I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

A GF recommended TDOTD to me recently but said read the first chapter in The Rogue Not Taken because it makes Sera & Mal’s Story so much better... and I’m so glad I listened!

These two broke my heart and even then they still clawed at the after math, and I loved every sad second of it. The Duke and Duchess seemed so perfectly paired that even I didn’t question their relevancy, I just knew they had to be together. I love when characters convey that bond that doesn’t feel artificial and overly done. But their prides were winning out and suddenly everything felt so wildly impossible...

Malcom “promises” Seraphina a divorce which would grant her the freedom she is desperately looking for if she can only find him a replacement wife... oddest of predicaments of course but the Duke is determined to win her back by proposing such an outlandish plan. And it might be working until it plainly isn’t! Ahhh these two had me in a frenzy, and now I’m ready to back track to book 1 & 2!!

My first Sarah Maclean title and will definitely not be my last!!

Allie Sutton just got a new job. Not one she wants, and definitely not one she's prepared for. She hadn't seen her dad in years, so the last thing she expects upon his sudden death is to inherit the thing he loved more than anything (or anyone)...the professional football team he owned for the last 20 years. Luke Pierson does not want a new boss. What he wants is to be a good father to his daughter, the best quarterback possible for his teammates. What he doesn't need is a blonde bombshell ruining the team's chances at another championship.

I will take every single stolen moment between these two! Karla Sorensen has definitely become one of my favorite discovered authors that I hadn’t read from before. This is my second title from her and while I’ve read the ebook already listening on audio has been worth the work I ditched today.

Luke and Allie have such an organic evolution of their relationship leaving everything feeling genuine and fresh. No instant love or forced romance, just them! Perfectly timed plot that will leave you so satisfied by the end you won’t even know what to do with yourself.

Allie has just inherited ownership of a football team housing Luke Pierson and they basically are hard up from the start. Fate has made them neighbors and that’s only the beginning of their journey. But I will say this, if you love sports romance and a brooding hero... LOOK NO FURTHER. Karla Sorensen has perfected the genre, do yourself a solid and listen to this one!

“...I’ll treat you with the respect you deserve as the team quarterback, but you sure as hell better do me the same courtesy as the team owner. I may still be getting my footing, but I bet I could make all sorts of trouble for you if you ever felt the need to remind me what women who look like me usually do or say in your obnoxious, golden boy presence.”

My life was perfect - until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me. My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed. Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite. I can’t stand him. He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all.

What a treat! After the audio ended I immediately restarted it, I truly couldn’t get enough of it!

Corinne Michaels provides heart, bravado, and one of her best story lines to date! Whenever I pick up one of her books I know I’m getting the best quality and If I Only Knew, solidified this.

The narrators brought Dani & Milo to life which is so important seeing as these are two very passionate and rational characters. Their dialogue took on a life of its own and Sophie Eastlake & Shane East made sure of it!

Dani is going through one of the biggest losses of her life and Milo swooped in like a white knight. Not that she needed saving, cause she didn’t, but he offered her a companionship that she didn’t know she needed. Milo too finds the same in Dani but when faced with his own arising conflict things definitely will be shaken up.

This audio/book is my FAVE out of this series of standalones. Milo Huxley cannot be topped, trust me when I say this audio is worth every single second just to hear him say “darling” anything really!

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego". (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...and a virgin. At least those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

Yes you are Grayson Connors, yes... you... are!!

No one does banter like Whitney G., no one. I find this is a reason why I love her audios so much. I love the back and forth nature her characters share and the wittiness instilled in them. She writes them so smartly and I appreciate that entirely.

Grayson and Charlotte are grad school sweethearts and its a classic scenario of football player meets slightly less popular, gorgeous girl but with a WG twist. I listened to their story in a day and the only part I didn't like was when it was over!! But I always find myself wanting more when it comes to her books.

This is a must listen and Joseph Discher is a new to me narrator but I definitely plan to listen to more audios from him!~

I have two rules in life: first, no relationships, falling in love, or attachments; and second, no sleeping with clients of my interior design firm. Since the last guy turned out to be married, they’ve been easy to follow, until Callum Huxley, a ridiculously sexy Brit. The connection we have the moment our eyes lock scares the ever-loving hell out of me. Thank God, I came to my senses before going back to his hotel where I would’ve ended up naked, panting, and unable to forget him.

The one thing I’ve come to expect from Corinne’s novels is dependability. I trust her details and attention to her plot and it leaves me without questions, only satisfaction.

Callum and Nicole were a complete delight, and by delight I mean sarcastic banter and steamy interactions.

Nicole being hurt before was reluctant to dive into something so soon with Callum but he would not be deterred. And the chase was so worth it! These two had me in so many fits of laughter and I caught myself constantly looking over my shoulder making sure no one could hear the word “dick” coming through my headphones.

Not Until You is another book/audio being added to my LOVE list of books by Corinne!

What a well rounded, complete story. I was not expecting all of the emotions that were brought on by KA Tucker but I’m glad they came either way. Every character brought something to this story and I felt like I could picture rural Alaska vividly. The details provided didn’t have me second guessing the settings or way of life at all. Calla & Jonah were so perfect in such a honest and real way that you couldn’t help but root for them. And Wren and Simon those guys broke my heart, all in all this is a must read/listen. Vanessa Mazur knows she's doing the right thing. She shouldn't feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans, and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary. But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she's beyond shocked.
